Call For Entries For Silverstone Auctions Sale at Classic Motor Show

Silverstone Auctions invites entries for its sale at the Footman James Classic Motor Show at the NEC on 16th to 18th November.

An early entry is an original 1968 Morris Mini Cooper S ex-police traffic car, estimated at £18,000 to £22,000, one of just eight road-worthy examples of police Cooper S models.

The season ending Footman James Classic Motor Show and the neighbouring Classic Motorbike Show has become a ‘must-attend’ event for anyone harbouring a passion for cars and bikes, attracting around 50,000 owners and enthusiasts.

There are over 1,400 vehicles on display, from modest family saloons all the way through to head-turning supercars. There’s also hundreds of trade stands, shows and automotive services to enjoy as well as the Wheeler Dealer live stage and restoration theatre.

Nick Wahle, MD of Silverstone Auctions said, “Our first entry in the sale, the Cooper S police car, bodes well for yet another fantastic auction and there’s still plenty of time for potential vendors to contact one of the team at Silverstone Auctions if they think their car is suitable.

“Also, given the special nature of the weekend which attracts classic car lovers from all over the UK and even further afield, we can be confident of ending the year on a real high. It’s a great way to crown a momentous twelve months for Silverstone Auctions and bring it to a thrilling climax,” added Nick.

Anyone interested in submitting an entry into the auction can email or call 01926 691 141. Meanwhile, for further information about Silverstone Auctions visit
