I own a camry, 2002 model, and there is a clunking noise when setting off either pointing left or right. There is some play in the steering rack, and I would like to find out if this item should be replaced with the pump as well. I have been informed that the steering rack and the pump should be both changed together as a matter of course. It hasn't shown up during MOT's but I think it is better to have either a replacement steering rack or have it rebuilt.

I have seen Alhambra is more than 10 centimeters narrower than the VW Sharan even though both considered almost same. Both being large MPVs I am wondering will Alhambra go through 6'6" width restricted roads? If so, it can access more roads than Sharan and Galaxy. Read more
2104mm - 90 - 90 == 1924mm, which is a fag paper under 6'4".
It'll go through a 6'6" gap, with the mirrors folded in. Whether it will go through a gap signposted as 6'6" is another matter....
I have up to 10k to buy a car. We are low users, about 5k miles a year, half of which is short city journeys. The current vehicle is a Picasso petrol which we've had for about 10y, and I would like to replace with something that will do the same job of being cheap to run and lasting a decade while shifting a family of five. As the three smallest are going to be all big by the end of that next decade, I need it to be quite a large vehicle. I have in mind the C4 Grand Picasso, S-Max, Galaxy (ex Addison Lee perhaps), Zafira, or maybe an estate like a Mondeo or Passat.

The car I'm looking for will probably never get to 100,000 miles. If I bought it new it would likely do 50,000 in ten years.

Hi, Sounds very much like the clutch cable cable has broken or the attachment point to the pedal maybe. A new cable if reqired will not break you and if you can find a friendly garage they ought to be able to fit the a replacement cable for less than the shed loads of dosh main agents charge. Good luck.
I am in favour of any law that prevents or inhibits peds from jumping off the pavement in front of motor vehicles - particularly mine. This USA jaywalking law seems to to a good solution. I commend it to the current government. I also propose a bounty that can be claimed by any driver who knocks over a ped who is crossing where they shouldn't - £500 should be about right.
Hi there guys
I'm wondering if anybody would be able to get me the correct radio code as the one in the handbook didn't match the radio in the car.
The correct serial number is M035813.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi all,

I plan to sell the old Yaris privately so need have the car insured still. I have a car and my wife has a car already so for a period of time (not to long hopefully) we will have 3 cars between us.... Read more
Thats a nice little story, and many thanks for updating it.
Very handy that temp insurance cover and fair beans to The Bulldog for the full refund, i didn't think the Yaris would take long to sell, the right car with the right history, gone....
