Been given the job of finding a decent towbar for a Kangoo van but all the ones on ebay are headed up by pics not relating to the listed item, and requested specific photos are not forthcoming. The owner needs to see a photo before committing to buying. Can anyone provide a link to a seller who has an illustration of what they`re actually selling.A good solid make(he will be towing trailer laden to legal max),easy to fit and inline or cheaper than the £63 ones on ebay?
He`s also after a manual which will cover the 1.9 diesel engine fitted ,and claims he can`t find a manual to cover the Kangoo van.... Read more
Hi there,
I'm looking to buy a Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI Black Edition (2009/2010, 50-80k miles) in the BCA. What kind of money to they go for? Either 140 or 170. Hard to find prices and I live in Ireland. I'd like to know before I head over to buy one. Have been looking over here for a while now and have only seen one for sale!... Read more

I think this is one of life's mysteries, and it applies to anything bought or sold at auction cars, antiques, houses. It all depends who is there on the day. Sometimes bargains are to be had, sometimes the "guide price", sometimes it all goes bananas.
I'm starting a new job in the New Year which means I need to visit farms, estates, woodlands etc so need a vehicle that can cope with tracks, fields, woods, farmyards etc.
Going to be covering the country so need something that is also comfortable after a 5-6 hour stint behind the wheel. Current car is a BMW 520 as I do a lot of motorway cruising and I'll be keeping it. I am a lady who is nearly 6' tall so need legroom and space.... Read more
I'll prefer Mercedez-benz as its too comfortable and if you are looking to save the money.... you don't you go for the car with lpg conversion kit installed in it??? it will help you save money without losing the power..

I have a Volvo V70 D5 diesel automatic, 2004. A few months ago a slight vibration used to occur between about 60 and 65 mph. Now the vibration occurs between about 60 and 75mph. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I'm not sure if it is speed or engine related. Read more
I would concur, about 95% of all vibration problems are down to wheel balance or tyre defects.
Earlier this year I purchased a 4 year old Mercedes ML from a large car dealer. It was £17,000 with 55k miles on the clock. After 2 months the parking sensors became eratic and after 3 months they had stopped working, I'd now driven 5k miles in the car. When I contacted the dealer they said that as it was more than 1 month since I purchased the car and that the car had a high mileage, because of these 2 factors they would not look at the parking sensor issue. Is there anything I can do? or do I have to bit the bullet and get the sensor repaired myself? Read more

Sounds like a terrific value for money car tried and tested and sold by Renault in Europe. Read more
I know that car manufacturers arrange very extreme conditions when they are calculating running costs for their new cars but I am really fed up with the consumption on my new multiair 1450 Guilietta! One of my main reasons to buy this beautiful car was to have fun as well as a sensible consumption. The best I can get on combined , really steady driving in calm conditions on fairly empty road, with me alone in the car is 30.2mpg! Considering they advertise 37.2-64.2, then I must be doing something seriously wrong. I do think that, if any other item proved not to satisfy the description, I could return it; if I can prove that that is the maximum achievable, would the Trades Description Act not apply here? As a lorry driver (or is it trucker?!)
Edit. I's agree with Gordon regarding the 30mpg though. Turbo petrols can make a lot of power with very little fuss, so it is quite easy to be chewing fuel without knowing it....

I have lad, mostly dealers selling on Autotrader who probably buy them from Auctions like BCA. Would like to know how much do they buy them for so they can make a profit. Thanks.
