Hi ,
I have just bought a secondhand Honda Jazz 2003 and found out that the gearbox is making a funny noise on the 1st , 2nd and the 3rd gear . Well I have read a lot on the forum about the Technical service Bulletin regarding the faulty gearbox . I have a few of the paperwork about the service the car have had the last 10years . I have not see any thing mentioned about any repair o the gearbox . I have phoned honda  HQ and they tld me to send the car to the local dealer and they will charge me for the diagnosis . My worry is they might tell me any story and I would not know the real truth . I wish to know what can I do to confirm my complaint to them and that they have to accept the real fault .
What any steps can take before contacting them .
explian to me the proper mileage and warranty I now need to have to qualify for this complaint.

As cautious as women drivers try to be, they tend to get as distracted, if not more, than their male counterparts. And this holds true if the female driver in question is a mom. If you don’t want to be one of those unfortunate moms in a mess with the authorities for distracted driving, then here are some tips to help reduce distractions in your daily routine.

* Make sure everyone in the car is buckled up before you get started, and keep checking on them during stopovers.
* Keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel at all times.
* Never take calls while driving; divert all your calls to voicemail.
* Allow a responsible passenger or an older child to handle your pphone calls and text messages.
* If the phone call is urgent, then pull to the side of road before you answer it.
* If needed, use a hands free device. But limit your usage.
* Pull over to the side of the road and settle any arguments and disputes that may erupt in the car.
* Never, never, never apply makeup or eat or even read anything when driving! Read more

Hello,

I noticed the other day that my head light beams from both front headlights were very high and as a result i was 'blinding' fellow motorists. When i tried to adjust the beam with the button/scroller nothing happened. I popped the bonnet and the Valeo PA6.6-GF30 unit in the n/s headlight which controls the under/down direction of the light, was buzzing. I have now got a replacement unit and was wondering how I remove the faulty unit and replace it with the new one? I have tried to remove the one in situ by turning the unit clockwise hoping it would pop out but the unit still seems to be attached to something as when I gentle pull it it stays in place and seems to be connected to the back of the lights.... The electric height adjuster is connected to the headlight mechanism by a plastic shaft that has a ball and socket fixing. It is only a push fit,but in cold conditions the chances of it breaking are high.I would leave the original adjuster in place but disconnected (also disconnect other side headlight adjuster) and adjust the headlights manually on the plastic screws.hth

Hi I recently got around to trying to start my 2002 adventurer, it has been stood a while, when it eventually started it coughed and spluttered and would not run right. Blocked carbs yes. well my mate and I set about stripping them and as expected found the jets etc clogged up with what I can only describe as varnish, the petrol tap was also blocked. we cleaned everything thouroughly and reassembled. this time it ran ok on 2 but the 3rd was missing.

We are going to dismantle it again and give it another going over, this time I was thinking of using and ultrasound cleaner as I believe it gets to all the tiny holes and things.... Read more

Hi, I had the same problem with my 1993 Triumph Sprint after it was stood for only 3 months. A flushing with a good quality fuel additive followed by a tank of non-ethylene fuel cleared it

Turned out to be ethylene coming out of the mix and depositing itself. This is a real problem for the small bore jets, injectors and fuelways on motorcycles. Not to mention the devastating effect on plastic fuel tanks, for some makes....

Yes, I think BMW are still majority owned by the Quandt family - and it was they who became very nervous with Rover, and forced the sale. As with Rover, a number of other companies were approached to buy Chrysler (VW, the Renault/Nissan alliance, PSA, etc) but no-one was interested
