Hi All long time reader first time poster, have come up with an issue i hope your advice can solve for me...stupidly last night whilst taking a mattress to my girfriends house i shut the boot(i have an estate) and popped the rear windscreen out, it appears that it needs regluing, i rang autoglass who wanted to charge £100 for the pleasure so does anybody know what type of glue i would need or where i could get it from? had a result - some local firm will do it for £45 inc call out, it would have worked out cheaper to stick a brick through the window and claim on insurance than get Autoglass to re-glue it.....madness uh!!

Just been listening to 702 ABC Sydney Radio and heard about a guy who is developing an E30, electric, capable of 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds. A quick Aussie google search and hey presto:-

PD engines are fussy about their oil. For your engine, it should meet 506.01 requirements.

We have a 2005 1.6 Zetec Focus. Had the car for about 6 years and covered 36K and always serviced by my excellent local ford dealer. Recently (6 months) the car has been dropping out of second gear intermittantly. It goes in easy enough no noise or problems, first and reverse engage without problems. It might be dropping out of third too, but I'm not 100% sure (wife's car). Without having problems enagaging first or reverse it doesn't soundl like its the clutch, but I'm not an expert. With the previous good history we intended to keep the car, but the power steering pump failed recently, £350 :(, and the coil pack before that. So I'm now thinking of changing before I sink too much into the car. Any ideas what might be the cause and hence the cure and some approximate cost for a garage to fix? Read more

The gearbox is controlled by cables which are mounted below the gear lever. It's possible to adjust these but it's definitely a garage job because you have to get right underneath the car to be able to do it.

I rather think this might be your problem. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the design of that gearbox; mine's done 190K and it's still going strong!...

Fire crews from nearby Fakenham and another from Wells, police and paramedics were called after the man, driving a silver Vauxhall Anglia, received injuries to his chest, stomach, pelvis and leg.

The teenager, who was driving a pink Mini, received head injuries and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with the other casualty. Read more

Nothing strange about a Vauxhall "Agila", thousands of the things on the road, both old and current versions are re-badged Suzukis. Definitely not an Astra and definitely don't have sidevalve engines, nothings had those since the 50's.

The thread is taking the p**s out of a mis-named Vauxhall Anglia - many Ford Anglias had sidevalve engines, not getting an OHV engine until the 105E of 1959....

I've got a 2002 Espace III. The fan (or fans) no longer blow at all. I don't know how many fans there are though. I've been told that it is probably the resistor pack that has failed. Also, the fan might have caused the resistor pack to fail so it might be worth checking the fan and replacing if it doesn't look too good.

The air con still works though only blows through when the car is moving so it is just about possible to de-mist the windscreen.... Read more

My rear windscreen heater and wiper only work intermittently. At first it would seem quite random as to when they would work (i.e. They would start working part way through a journey, or at the start or not at all!) but I've noticed that the carpet in my boot is very wet during rainy weather and creating excess condensation.

Is it possible that the rain is affecting the electrics and the wipers and heater only work when it's a bit drier? ... Read more

Thanks...

I shall give it a whirl. I'll have to take a closer look at the rear light seals.
