I've been to see this, just wondered what people thought:
1. Was missing the stone chip protector on the drivers side rear door. Considering it's not just stuck on, why would it be missing?
2. Is on a 2 year service plan?
3. Looks a lot cheaper than Mondeos of the same age, spec, mileage.
4. Has a warranty through a 3rd party - Maprfe

I'd stick to the rule of 'if your first offer doesnt embarass you its not low enough' and go in there and offer them £4,000 + the OP's car of 11 years and start the ball rolling.
the central locking is playing up. the rear passenger door isnt working via central locking. i have to use manual lock inside car. key fob died ages ago so just use key in drivers side. when i unlock drivers side not all door unlock. i can be 5 or 10 minutes when they decide to unlock. (very unnerving for new passengers who think i have locked it again all of a sudden!!!) sometimes it works first time other times it delay until it feels like it.

Hello, I hope somebody can help me.. My Discovery 2.0L Mpi, 1995 has an engine problem.. engine jerking. It happens randomly, at any revs, at any speed sometimes even neutral. It can be ok for few days. When it comes, sometime can help stop the engine and start again. Engine starts always very well.
I have changed plug cables, coils and fuel filter (the one which is out of the fuel tank) already. There was no problem four weeks after I have changed plug cables than it comes again. So I have changed coils, it was ok 3 weeks and comes again…. I changed fuel filter today but it did not help. Do u have experiences with it?... Read more

Really nice cars btw, Was mightily impressed by a 145k mile slightly scruffy '53 plate last week when I accompanied friend on her test drive. Excellent exhaust note from the 5 cylinder diesel, loads of urge and not a squeak from inside (although valet would have been good!).
On the C5 there is a particulate warning light which will come on when the filter needs replacing. Also there is an "Eloys low" filter which comes on when it needs replacing.

I was involved in a car acident on 1/11/11 whereby a car went right into back of mine whilst i was moving - i have just turned a corner and due to parked cars you need to go slowly but as i have just got around the corner another car swung round behing me and went straight into my car - female driver got out and apologised and said she could not get brakes on - her car passenger headlamp was badly damaged my car had a slight cuff to bumper but nothing cosmetically really but when you press bumper it just flexs right in now
i called my insurane ten minutes after accident no witnesses were present it was straight forward as far as i was concerned i would pop car into garage and get bumper fixed and not be too costly to the other driver as it was their fault... Read more

Is it possible to test for a porus block? If that is the problem I assume ill have to get a replacment engine or is possible to fix it?...
