MYwife had been complaining recently that her car had begun stalling easily. Tonight she drove 2 miles from home and the engine cut out and refused to restart ,after half an hour the car restarted and she made it home only for the car to cut out on the drive once again it restarted after half an hour.Any suggestions welcome. Hi I have a Jeep cherokee 2.5 sport 1996 I recently dropped the only remote I have and now I cannot start the car due to the immobiliser.

Hi, we have a Renault Clio 54 reg diesel that has been off road for 8 months now. It did run ok apart from it now blows white smoke out of exhaust. We were going to get this fixed recently however when we went to drive it to the garage we realised the battery had gone dead as we'd left it to long and we haven't got round to doing anything since (i know this is very silly of us). It doesn't have a valid mot it passed the last one fine though and it's sorn at the mo as were not using it. If someone was interested in buying it 'as is' how much would you suggest that i say to them?

Its the kind of car which if put roadworthy would sell to someone. Calculate up what it'd cost to get it on the road, search auto trader for similar cars in your area, see what they're priced at and see if the difference is worth it.
Hello all. Bit of advice required from those unfortunate enough to travel Europe's biggest car park more regularly than myself. Next Sunday ive been roped into taking somebody to Portsmouth, cut a long story short on a Sunday is it best to use the M25 during the day or in the evening? Presumably on a Sunday it shouldnt be too bad either way. The route is from Suffolk to Portsmouth so obviously London is like a great big block of cheese in the way.
Now as far as im aware the shortest route would be A12 - M25 - A3 down to Portsmouth. Or the less desirable alternative is to go straight through London which is a stupid idea and im not doing that.... Read more
It was not meant as a critism of you but of all drivers who have problems on certain roads you are becoming bit sensitive calm down before you blow a fuse.
Fast Idle Lambda Check failed twice: 1.039 and 1.035. On the same printout the readings on both fast idles for CO and HC are 0. For natural idle CO is again 0. On previous MOTs and at the same Test Station (which has changed hands) I have always had readings other than 0 for most of these parameters, though within limits. Is it possible that the test was at fault here rather than the car? I declined the offer of a £50 diagnosis and removed the car, thus losing the chance of a free re-test, as my instinct told me something didn't add up. Was it right? What else can I check? Read more

My infiniti suv jacks anytime I want to accelerate, have checked plugs and the air flow meter and also the ignition all works well but when it was scanned I notice it display knock sensor. Could this be the problem. Because the injector works well. Read more
