Fiat brava 2001 1.9 jtd - Stalling aand engine cutting out. - Mel

MYwife had been complaining recently that her car had begun stalling easily. Tonight she drove 2 miles from home and the engine cut out and refused to restart ,after half an hour the car restarted and she made it home only for the car to cut out on the drive once again it restarted after half an hour.Any suggestions welcome.
