Has any one had a problem with a faulty clutch in their B class?.

I had a new clutch at 34,000 miles and that has worn out again at under 42,000. neither my wife nor I have had this problem in the past. A previou Astra of hers did 80,000 with no clutch problems and I had a 5 series BMW which had done 120,000 when I parted with it on the original clutch....

Hi

I was wondering what would be the best oil for an 80K 1.4HDI, looking in the handbook 5W 40 is recommended, however some websites are saying 10W 40, and some 0W 30. Would Castrol Magnatec 10W40 Semi Synthetic be suitable or do I need specific Turbo Diesel oil?... Read more

What has been put in it during the past?. 5w30 C2 spec is a good one for these engines.

I have the above model & I like i & had it for years.Isuzu supposed to be a great diesel engine

In December 2010 during that cold spell, the engine overheated and blew a hose together with the head,I took it to a garage & they guessed it must be the water pump,so I had the head shimmed and had it replaced ,together with the water pump & cam belt just for fun.........alas...still the same problem,so they guessed again & said it must be the thermostate? alas, again same problem. Now Im over £500 (new gaskets)...
