I went to start my 306 D, P Reg, this morning and when I turned the ignition key I got nothing.
Initially thought the battery had gone flat, however a number of the electrical items worked such as lights, fans, indicators central locking etc, but windows, igntion did not. Tried it with jump leads which had no affect, so I concluded it must be an electrical problem. Then, when the ignition key was 1/2 turned to plug warming postion, some of the dash lights started flckering, then I had full electric power in the cock pit, then it was gone again.... Read more
The driver window has been working off and on for the last few weeks but now it has completely stopped working. the motor runs but nothing happens. The window will drop slightly and has to be pulled back up by hand. I have taken the trim off to check it out but cannot see where the problem is. I would suspect that the drive on the motor has broken but cant confirm because I can't see where the motor drives the window mechanism. Anybody have any experience/advice re this problem?

Perhaps his dealer is a little more honest than yours,Brake fluid is changed when it becomes to laden with H20 seeing that it is not in contact with any its lifespan is a lot lnger than some people have you believe checking with the correct measuring meter is the correct and only way.Just changing and charching the punter is tantemount to robbery.
Have a 2.5 Forester with Sat Nav. This is a european version run through a Kenwood 0910 dvd player. I want to update the info but Subaru want a lot of money for this, at around £400. Does anybody know where I could obtain a 2011/12 dvd covering Europe, or for just France which is what I am really interested in. Many thanks in advance. Read more

Maybe if they hadnt scrapped 200,000 perfectly usable servicable vehicles the market would be better for customers.
I bought a T reg Daewoo lanos 2 weeks ago from a dealer and MOT garage. I took it for a small test drive and it seemed ok but once I had driven it 50 miles home I realised there was something wrong. I texted the dealer who stated the heat sheild needed looking at!! I was not told about this at the point of sale. I checked out prices and decided it was not worth the petrol or my time to return it and was ready to have it repaired myself. During the following week it became apparent there were many faults, there is a burning smell, the passenger window doesnt open, it only does 20 miles to the gallon and his comment of 'it is only a 1.4 so doesnt have a lot of power' is wholly optemistic!! I contacted him 6 days after purchase stating I wanted it repaired, replaced or a full refund. He stated I had bought it as seen and that was it!! I stated as a dealer it is not only as 'seen' but as decribed by the dealer and he obviously ommited faults and also lied about power and fuel efficiancy!! It is now a week later, I have had no choice but to drive the car due to where I live and work and he is refusing to answer calls or texts. I am now going to return the car but want to know my legal standing before I turn up? Do you have any words of wisbom for me?

Ah right, I thought at that age it might have a carb. I haven't run a petrol vehicle for nearly 30 years. Well ,its either got to be weak mixture or a weak spark.

Minimum is Third Party only. I had this on my first car-not even fre and theft. You might have to ask for it because it's not always advertised.
