I am trying to figure out what my Isuzu TF double cab pick up can tow, however I struggling to find this info. I have come across detailed towing specs for a double cab Brava and was wondering if these would be similar to my truck?
If not, does anyone know what my truck can tow - 2.8td double cab 2001 TF pickup. Read more
I have a problem with heavy vibration under braking. I have fitted new discs& pads, new wheel bearings & caliper guide pins. The vibration is more pronounced at low speed, when there is strong movement on the steering wheel. Could I be requring a new caliper?

Forgot to add, did you clean the accululated rust and salty crud from all moving/slding surfaces of the calipers and lubricate those parts.
When checking the inner and outer CV joints, check carefully that the rubber boots haven't split and the grease vanished...by the way in times gone by i would after a reasonable mileage snip the larger end of the rubber boots, repack the joints with CV grease and reseal with a good cable tie, kept them going for many years that way.
In September I had my car serviced and MOT'd under a service package.
The problem i have is the service light on the car keeps flashing up and counting down the miles to next service. I have only done 2000miles since September.... Read more
Thanks for the reply. Will check with the garage to see if they can reset it.

Hi

It's about having an "insured interest".
The insured person should have an interest in the vehicle and so normally they, their spouse or a lease company should be listed on the V5.
As there seem to have been no claims there is no harm done but you need to swap the V5 into your daughter's name and then the policy will be valid.
I have a 2007 Accord saloon 2.2 ctdi with 50,000m and am finding fuelling patchy in cruise - can at times feel like a vehicle does when it's runing out of petrol (or diesel). Seems to happen around the 1,750 rpm mark, any gear, but only when 'criusing' (clears instantly when you call for power and behaves perfectly normally in an acceleration mode). The vehicle has always suffered from marked 'pinking'/ diesel 'rattle' which may be contributory? Any thoughts or suggestions welcome. Read more

if the head gasket has failed will the cylinder head need skimmed?
The daughter in law has been advised by two garages that both driveshafts need replacing.
The downside is that the new parts must come from South Korea, with a waiting time of six weeks and a total cost for the job of £960.00. Not good as she only paid £1700.00 for the car.... Read more
