I was suprised last night to see the Car next to mine had been wheel clamped in the Milton Keynes (meteor) train station car park. I assumed that this practice had been stopped in 2012? The driver returned and removed a notice from his windscreen. I did read the notice but was very surprised.

What is the situation these day?... Read more

Our brand new fleet fitted with the Dennis olympus compactor will automatically switch off the flood lights if you start driving around faster than 15 mph. The amber beckons that's pure lazynes on part of the driver, I have sometimes forgot to turn them off but as soon as I realise I switch them off.

I wish to replace the battery on the above car, what type of battery do Ineed & any special procedures to be taken other than loss of radio code ? Read more

Type 063 will do the job,but you are better off with a slightly higher capacity 065/075.I would stick with a known brand such as Bosch,Varta Exide. Most batteries come with a minimum 3 year warranty. Those with a 4 or 5 year warranty are the same battery but you are paying an extra "insurance".Take a look at the Vauxhall main dealer batteries,as they often have a promotion running. No special procedures to follow other than always remove the negative lead first and replace last.If this is a Zafira B,then the radio will automatically recode itself.
