I've just got a corsa sxi 2002.
She was starting ok & running ok.
I went to start her & she's turning over,but won't start.
The fuel gauge won't move off empty,got plenty of fuel.
Also the mileage isn't been displayed.

If the Ampera had been available with a diesel engine to power the generator instead of a petrol one, that would have improved its long range economy considerably.
I expect that range-extender hybrids will become the norm in the future and there's the bonus that a lot of their technology can be shared with pure electric cars and vans.
A fellow camper on this site flattened the battery on his new Tourneo by running his fridge overnight on 12V. He opened the driver's door with the key and the rear hatch, however the passenger door and the sliding doors remained electronically locked. Obviously he needed to get under the bonnet to jumpstart the car but the bonnet locking handle is built-in to the passenger doorframe and therefore inaccessible when the door is shut. Presumably this is a 'leftover' from a LHD design where that particular door would be the key lockable driver's door.
He got over the problem by plugging a power pack into the bootc12V socket which worked in reverse and provided power to unlock the passenger door. His power pack was then empty so he had to ask another camper to help start the car from my their's ... Read more
It's possible that there is a outside key lock present in the left door handle same place as drivers side, under a plastic clip on cover.
I presume the interior door handle wouldn't open the left hand door either and no way to manually unlock from inside, i dislike this type of door lock intently, the possibility of accident aftermath and being locked in don't bear thinking about, give me proper door locks and a manual lever or pop up lock tab anytime....
My father put a CD in the Cd slot not realising he had one already in there. Pressing the eject button one came out but the other won't and won't play either.

I've never inserted two CDs in a player before, but I have had units that would not eject the CD. I'm wondering whether your father's unit doesn't know there is a CD inserted as it has ejected one. In my fairly limited experience, there's usually a method for forcing an ejection by pressing and holding two buttons at the same time. Perhaps eject and power? Do you have a manual for the unit?
