1. If you have the chance to park at the end of a row, do you make sure you are right at the end? It is amazing how many people just park, without thinking about the 1m/2m at the end they haven't taken, perhaps totally oblivious this is having a concertina effect on the rest of the line.
2. If you can only just fit in the only space available, would you go in it? By only just fit, I mean a space that is only about 2 feet/0.6m longer than your own car. This of course has an impact on the cars either side of you to leave their spaces. Read more

Nice to see a standard wheel size across the range, none of the usual nonsense about a trade-off between a comfortable ride and creature comforts. Hopefully the pictured ones are the 16" from the sport pack as they're worryingly thin if they're the standard 15" Read more
They drop it for a few days, letting people in thinking it's cheaper to attract customers into their store, then no doubt put it back up again and slowly over time prices have increased by god knows what percentage. Rubbish! Read more
Such calculations can only be done using 'real-world' figures, where the diesel would likely get closer to the manufacturer figure than the petrol does. It might only take 200,000 miles to break even, ahahaha! Read more
Doctorchyk,
Honest John calculations are unfair as it uses 'real mpg' figures for one car and manufacturer 'claimed mpg' for the other car in the comparison.
To get an accurate comparison you should used a level playing ground- Either use 'claimed mpg' or real mpg for both comparison! Fullstop
