Polish them, T cut will do, but Solvol or other metal polish will do the same, lots of elbow grease required, some people use 1200 grit wet n dry paper initially if they are really bad then a finer cutting polish.

Worth wax polishing them well afterwards to help protect the new clean finish.

This assuming the dulling is outside, it usually is.

In the absence of the above, a coa*** whitening toothpaste works well.

I have done the job myself with some G3 and elbow grease. Took about one hour for each headlamp. If elbow grease and time are in short supply, there appear to be 'professionals' available. No connection with the firm or any idea how good the work is.

Many people overlook the usefulness of toothpaste as a polish for spectacles and other glass and plastic objects. I certainly wouldn't put the stuff with sodium fluoride in my mouth!
