I was wondering if anyone knew what the NGK or Motorcraft equivalent platinum plug was for a 2009 Focus 1.6 ?

Thanks guy's, i do carry four jackets in the drivers door and have all the kit as required as done the last 20 years in europe but never stayed in Austria. been on weighbridges many times and stopped in germany where they had portable weight platforms I had to drive onto. Few years back I was 1KG under my MGW ! Phew I knew then it was a money generator but i was ok.
Finding a campsite on recommendations often helps but I'm sure I wont be dissapointed. Always had very good sites in France , Spain & Italy, german ones can tend to be a bit regimental, but look forard to trying Austria sites

hi , iv had problems for the last few months with the service light coming on and restricting the car to 2500 rpm, i had the codes read and found out it was the egr valve and a glow error,, the guy told me 8 times out of ten you can clean it and armed with that i gave it ago , iv cleaned the egr valve best i could using carb cleaner , while i was at it i cleaned what i think is the inlet manifold? where the egr valve connects,i had to undo the fuel lines/injectors to get this off for cleaning.. anyway iv put it all back together and now the car just will not start iv tried to blead it but the injectors are a night mare to get to and i managed to get one off theres barely any diesel coming through any one got any ideas whats gone wrong? cheers in advance Read more
Hi, when I am sitting in traffic and the car is idleing either with my foot on the clutch or with the handbrake on the cars bubbles and rocks, you can feel this in the car to the extent the handbrake and gearstick rocks. Also the car is sometimes hard to start, not always. I have changed the glow plugs. The car is a 55 plate Golf and done about 98000 miles. Read more
I think I would be checking the camshaft lobes for wear ! common problem for wear when they have run on the wrong oil.
as the description of subject quotes im having trouble starting her ...about a month ago i noticed that on my days off (2) when i wasnt using the car to start her up a couple of days later was a struggle.. once started you could turn her off and she would start 20 times out of 20 ... but now leaving her overnight and starting her first time is not happenning ..yesterday it wouldnt start at all .. i have re timed her @ 7 degrees put new plugs in changed coil and coil lead she took some starting again.. but had a slight misfire .... warmes her up took her for a drive ...turned her off and on again no probs ...:-0
this morning same agaain it took ages for her to start.. to the point where she drained the battery ...we have fuel and spark timed up correctly but she is struggling ... has also come up with a slight misfire down low since yesterday ... any help would be massively appreciated thank you ...... Today i was told about a new form of scam by a friend of mine who works in a dealership. Its more something for private sellers to watch out for though.
People will come and see your car, usually a couple and they'll have fake keys which match the keys to the car, at some point when out of your sight they'll swap them over (if you give them just the key on its own its even easier for them to do this) hand your keys back, say they'll be in touch, wait for you to go inside then drive your car away with the real key. I dont think its particularly new, im sure this sort of thing has happened before (probably as old as the card trick to be honest) but if you read around on the net including some other forums you might see theres been a few instances of it reported recently.... Old Scam, I file a couple of discrete notches into the key of any car I'm selling. So I know I've got "my" key back.
