I'm hoping someone can help me, I own an 07 Mondeo it's the MK3 shape, I recently tried to connect the aux cable but noticed the existing wire from the stereo has been cut. I bought a knew aux wire which should connect from the back of the cd6000 to the aux input in my glovebox. The problem is the connection doesn't fit, the wire is a 6 prong but the aux socket is only a 4 prong, I have googled and the socket is correct, but every cable I search for gives me the one I have, a 6 prong. Can anyone help me with any info, woudw be greatly appreciated, thanks Read more
My stereo has the aux button though not cddj? I'll try removing the radio again tomorrow (the keys I had were flimsy and useless) and connect from the stereo with the audio jack going to my MP3. Hoping for it to work

I agree that (IMHO) the WD Reliability Index doesn't take into account many factors, including the extent that each owner looks after the car (i.e. whether it's home maintained, at a rubbish backstreet indie or a decent one, similarly with the main dealers [whose quality can vary just as much]) and, just as importantly, drives it - someone who treats it with sympathy will get more life out of it without trouble than those who don't. As already said above.
With regard to changing brake fluid the old fluid can be checked on a meter for water contamination at the garage. Saves an unnecessary expense if fluid is still ok. Read more
Reference the 'keyless' and leaving 1 key at home. This is OK until the battery goes dead with no notice and you are in the sticks well away from any shops as happened to me on holiday this year. Luckily I had put the spare in my suitcase.

"...Luton Airport Parkway will probably have to adopt a strict drop off zone( with a nice hefty charge as well of course)-this area is currently pretty small and taken up mainly by bus companies and around 50 car parking spaces-always full of course..."
The new rail link will be on the other side (the north side) of the present Luton Airport Parkway station buildings, where there is quite a lot of space and where, presumably, passengers will access the new link directly. However, no doubt there will need to be strict parking controls there....

I believe you have to send battery back at your expense ,so they can check it for a fault. That's the problem when buying online.

Speak to your own company-many will cover both cars for a short period.
No contest, have your sisters, depreciation on even the 4.2k car will be over the £650 you pay for your sister's.
