I still have mine. 2016 DDIS Auto with Allgrip. It's an SZ5 and will do 60mpg on a good run. I use Michelin all-season tyres as I live in the Country. It has everything I need. It's a pity they stopped utilizing the Diesel. Read more

Ahhh, I’ve just realised I didn’t turn the ignition on, I just pressed the power button on the set with the ignition off, presumably the ECU needs to be awake to recognise the radio, I’ll try again tomorrow, silly me

Injector failure at 4,000 miles still under warranty. Dealer's service desk talking of only replacing failed injector but I hear elsewhere that all 4 injectors should be replaced in this case with ECU calibration. Any comments/advice? Read more

Not really much the OP can do about that now, or in the future, apart from perhaps sell it and not buy another diesel.

I suppose they could lend it out to get the mileage up, but they may not want to do that,either...

Hi everyone. Im looking for a car to replace my old ford fiesta. I really love the mazda 3. I need it to be an auto for my wife and when looking around thesw are almost too cheap. They have alot of miles on them and i was wondering if i should avoid them and wait a bit longer. After researching rust seems to be the biggest issue with these cars

Ive attached the links below and any advice would be super appreciated. Also should i avoid diesel?... Read more

You can definitely swap the wheels over if you wish. I imported mine from Germany to France and the European Certificate of Conformance lists both sizes, even on a Sport model.

There is no difference in the brake disc or caliper parts

How is the cost of 2nd hand parts set? For ages I have gaffer taped up the cover on my wing mirror. It looked a bit rubbish but did the job. A few weeks ago the mirror got bumped again and the glass cracked (just in the corner)

I could get just the glass for around £10 but thought I'd I get a new whole wing mirror, that will come with a new cover also. ... Read more

"Almost complete lack of competition" and "utter, shameless greed" are two factors never admitted to when prices go up. Instead, there is constant flanneling about "the falling exchange rate", "the cost of Brexit", "uncertainty about [insert trending topic here]"; "the cold snap"; "European safety regulations on [.....]" , "disrupted oil production owing to the civil unrest/war in [insert oil producing country here...]"; "millions of motorists driving without [insurance/road tax/faulty headlights/rear view mirrors]" and the like. Ebeneezer Scrooge is alive and well and prospering in the car parts business!

yes Ford's have had the EasyFuel system for a while and other manufacturers are very slow in adding similar systems to prevent this kind of issue.

Shell have clear markings, black for diesel and green for petrol, unless the local station had a mistake made when pump was serviced.

I agree that the Mazda 2 is indeed known for its impressive handling capabilities among small cars. The suspension setup provides a balance between comfort and precise handling, while the steering is direct and accurate, allowing for an engaging driving experience. In terms of running costs, the Mazda 2 proves to be economical. What's your thoughts about BMW x3 and x5. You can read a guide here https://truecarexpert.com/comparison/bmw-x3-vs-x5/

The 1.5-liter petrol engine with 115PS offers a good balance between performance and fuel efficiency. However, it's worth noting that this more powerful version is also the most expensive option within the lineup. If budget is a concern, the lower powered versions of the Mazda 2 still offer good fuel efficiency and represent a better value proposition in our professional opinion.| Read more
