I bought a 2011 ford Mondeo 2.0tdci. The car is running really well but I have discovered that the lead from the glow plug relay that runs down past the alternator shows some damage just accross from the alternater bearing. i would like to replace this cable but I am not sure if its part of the engine wiring loom of if a section of this can be replaced. If anyone know the answer or even better knows the part number needed I would be very greatful

If it is part of the main engine wiring harness,then it is unlikely that it can be bought as a separate part.Most Ford wiring looms are made up of complete assemblies and not divided up into individual parts.Unless it is a known issue,then a repair programme may be available.I am sure a good repair can be carried out.Is the car not under warranty?
Rather surprised to see a policeman, with hand held radar gun at 10.15pm in a village (very few houses on this stretch) on a quiet 30 mph limit 'A' road. Last time I saw one this late was the end of the last century on Newmarket Road in Norwich.

Don't think I am conflating two different things, the two seem to be linked: night time is dangerous because of drunks at the wheel, you would make it more dangerous by having faster traffic around drunks at the wheel (I'm not considering that the drunks might speed, because I imagine they wouldn't care about the speed limit, anyway).
What is dangerous is the inappropriate use of speed - not speed itself....

Hello one and all,
I have a 57 plate Dodge Nitro 2.8crd diesel 39k miles (Jeep Cherokee VM moroti four pot motor). I have purchased the truck with suspected engine failure, it arrived this afternoon not had chance to have a thorough look. We hooked the jump pack on and it seems that the starter is spinning but not cranking the engine, I then thought the starter was shot. However, we towed the vehicle and was difficult to get into gear but once in gear there was no joy engine was still not spinning over. I don't want to fork out for a new motor if it could possibly be something else?

I have looked up a chrysler Voyager with the same engine,and the flywheel bolts are initially 25 Nm plus a rotation of 60 degrees.Obviously need to check if your car is the same.
