"class leading"? Well I hope so, can't be any worse than the existing dire model, whose appalling residual value hit me very hard four months ago. Decided to jump ship to a 2 year old SEAT Exeo that had taken it's depreciation hit and is far cheaper to run Read more

I placed an order for an A5 Cabriolet in July 2012, after the usual difficulties of all the local Audi dealers being unflexible and wanting to tell me what I needed to buy and how I needed to buy it. I live in Surrey, and ended up getting the best deal from Bristol Audi, for the 3rd time.

I expected a 12 week delivery, and was subsequently pleased to receive a facory availabilty date of 9th November. T's and C's obviously state this is a bit flexible, but I was a tad annoyed on 29th October 2012 to be informed the date had changed to16th February 2013. Equivalent to a 6 month wait.... Read more

It's stories like this that make me glad I never buy brand new cars - at least with a used one you know it's not going to take six months to deliver.

I have a zafira with factory fitted dual fuel. Runs perfect on petrol, When changed to gas either auto or manual idle goes haywire. Up amd down till eventually cuts out. Massive flat spot. Already changed gas filter. Code read, no codes present. Took to GM dealers ( gas division) for fault find. Not very helpful, told EGR or throttle body . So why not on petrol, no answer! Another symptom, car erratically changes back to petrol when cruising, could be 2 miles or 20 miles. But will manually change back but again for an untold mileage. All symptoms when engine hot or cold. Heeeeeeeeeeeeelp Read more

Sorry for ignorance, where is this located? What sort of cost to substitute and is there any way of them being checked? Thanks

When buying from a car super market is it worth getting an independent aa or rac inspection done? Or Can you rely on the checks they claim to have done?
I'm am looking at an 08 focus diesel, 45k on the clock, also it's due for a service, should I be concerned?

Do you REALLY need a diesel and all the aggravation that goes with buying a used 4 year old car out of manufacturers warranty. could be a problem. Factor in potential dpf, dmf and turbo problems and say to yourself .. Do I want this risk?

Personally, no, no, and NO!

If anyone has a pop-up sunroof from the mid-eighties to early nineties, especially Therma-Lite ?then I could do with advice on missing component/s.I`m trying to work out what the two tangs on the front of the glass locate into as they are missing from the framework.Possibly there should be two small brackets.Either I need the measurements/fixing hole positions to make some up ,or details of a supplier who holds old stock. Many thanks,John. I live near Birmingham Airport and am looking for a mechanic that can fully service my car without having to takde it to a garage.

I may also need brake pads and brake shoes replacing in the neasr future. It has recently in September passed the MOT. I can't stretch to paying the garage £40.00 an hour fees.... Read more

I use a small worksop in a medium-sized Midlands town for non-warranty work - I have done for years as I rate their work - they currently charge £40/hour - anything much less than that is going to be a real cowboy.

As above, you need to find someone doing it for beer tokens if you can't afford £40/hour...
