was wondering if anyone can help. i was driving back from wolves to leicester and the power dropped from 80 to 40mph and there was a whining noise. got home safely n went to two garages who said it was my turbo and i was looking at about £1400 with the oil filter pipes etc. then a recently new family member who has a garage said he could put a reconditioned turbo in and everything for £950 and it will be ready in 2 days. it has now been 2 f***in months and i still aint got it back. now i was told last wednesday that one of the injectors have gone and it will be 200 quid more so i wasnt impressed. so i went to pk car up on friday n they tell me that all 4 injectors have gone??? wtf? i demonstrated that this was a joke n they didnt know what they were doing. what have these prats done? surely they have f***ed the injectors up?? can anyone please advise??? Have a look at the mileages of second hand vehicles on Autotrader some of these have star ship mileage not built as well as the E39(my opinion)but they are no more or less likely to breakdown than any other car plus there are are plenty of sub garages and parts suppliers in the UK.

Are there not small plastic covers in the headlining which can be removed revealing a roof raill fixing.
This has just happened out of the blue, remote opens all doors bar drivers one, drivers door opens fine when using key in lock but not via remote. Is this a job for ford to sort out of is there something I can do to do a reset or something. Read more
A car "scraped" into me today whilst driving on a 2 lane into 1 lane road at slow speed of about maybe 20 mph. I have small scrape and so does other car. As far as I am concerned it was other drivers fault but no doubt they will say opposite. I do not want to claim on my insurance. How is this all dealt with ???

Thanks for all the replies, sensible and useful (makes a change for a forum,lol). In fact really my car is only little scrape and is not a new car so I am not really bothered about repairs as makes no difference.
As for the incident itself, the other vehicle was in the right lane (offside) and I was in nearside lane of the 2 lanes. The right lane had an arrow telling right side (other vehicle) to merge into the left lane BUT they carried on further into the chevron area before moving left into the side of my car. I guess that makes it their fault ?.

Just brought a 2003 VW Bora 2.0 litre sport with 47000 miles on the clock - all seemed fine when I brought it, bar a mouldy smell which I'm currently coping with - but as I drove the car a little more I noticed a purring coming through the clutch pedal
I say purring as it feels like standing on a heavily purring cat at the bite point in every gear - it's definately worse in lower gears, yet when cruising on the motorway without my foot on the clutch, I can feel it faintly through the accelerator pedal... Read more
The Bora 2.0L petrol does not have a dual mass flywheel. Problems with this clutch are rare so I suspect as you do, it may need a new clutch and this is probaly down to poor clutch use by the previuos owner.
I have tried several times to remove the wiper arms to either paint or replace. Having removed the protective cover, and undone the bolt holding the wiper arm on...... I am still unable to get it to budge!

I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge.. and the way i explain the problem! I have a (pug 306 hdi 2.0 Meridian estate Y reg) With a faulty fuel gauge reading( Always reads higher than half a tank even when there is less) I HAVE REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP(Curtsey of a garage).
Lately the car will not start at times, For me to get it to start when it doesn't start it will take 3 diesel containers(£24 to start).. which is weird on one occasion I believed there to be half a tank in there, so I traveled 80 miles and then thought i would put another £20 worth of diesel in it alas Diesel peed out over the edge I had a full tank!! A full tank being 60 Liters around £85??!!
If you would like me to explain anything in greater detail please ask!!

been regretting it for a while. i said give me car back but they have put a reconditioned turbo in already so i dont understand how the injectors have gone after they have done this? they fitted everyrhing in and at last minute they said injector gone.....2 days later they said 4 injectors gone so dont know what the f*** they done. i will tell em to pay for damage as ling as i have some idea what the plonkers hav done
