My wheels are £ are going flat (well down to 12 psi) in about 10 days. I have read a lot about painting the interior of the wheels, ensuring that the surface between the tyre and the rim hasn't deteriorated etc.
The simple solution it appears to me is to fit inner tubes.... Read more
Trundling though Belgium yesterday, I saw a truck load of these. Looks quite a decent sort of MPV. Anybody know anything about them, and when they might appear in the UK? Read more
It's a Dodge Journey underneath that's Italian as a Lancia is American.

I came across a curious motoring anecdote in a recent news item on Spanish tv, which I thought I'd pass on. Apparently, keeping a bunch of keys in a trouser pocket is a massacre waiting to happen. An ambulance paramedic said that in numerous accidents he had attended, drivers had suffered gruesome injuries from keys in the trouser pocket, which, in a collision, can lacerate the femoral artery and cause massive bleeding.
The rest of the programme warned against leaving loose objects such as mobiles and iPodsanywhere in the car, which can become dangerous flying objects in even a low-speed collision. At 60 km/h a smartphone has an effective mass of 60 kgs IIRC.
As my Focus is not over-burdened with storage spaces (a later version my colleague drives has a lidded armrest and a hinged flap to the lower console compartment) I have always carried my house keys in my pocket and placed my BlackBerry in the open phone slot next to the handbrake. Never again!! Read more
Good point.
Also don't climb ladders with knives, scrapers. screwdrivers or trowels in your back pocket....
No, it's not an advert, but a car in a dealers here in carmarthen, that has been sitting on the forecourt for 2 and a half years, was originally priced at £2700, but no takers, and sitting there deteriorating slowly, bodywork is fine, interior not bad, but no one wants to buy it!

The Rover 75 and MG ZT will certainly become sought after classic cars. With their retro styling they were shunned by the public but loved by the press. I remember the 75 being launched at the same time as the Jaguar S-Type. Many thought the Rover was the better design. Fortunately for Jaguar, the revised S-Type addressed much of the criticism of the car, which was originally launched.

Fussy styling - it's lost the clean lines of the outgoing model.
Hi,
A month ago I bought a 2000 Rover 75 in very good condition. Until last week I did not experience any problem. But after filling up the windscreen wiping fluid the battery is draining. When loaded in rest position it is onlaoding with more than 4 Amps. By excluding checking I found out that it stops unloading when I remove the BCU fuse.... Read more
Thanks for the reply. I already discovered, that the dropping Amps were from the 18 seconds stay on.
Actually I had to realize that I am a victim of the light bulb conspiracy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1825163/). The battery installation was dated on autumn 2009. The quarantee period is 2 years. Today it is autumn 2011. So it broke down - from one day to another. And this while the car hardly made kilometers since 2009 and was always stalled in a garage. After installation of a new battery everything is OK....
Time to start a new thread. The Chinese are good at getting car companies for a bargain price. I sincerely hope this works and loyal Saab employees are retained in Sweden. They and their families have been to hell and back.

Possibly not the best, nevertheless I reckon this Honda Accord advert wins the award for one of the cleverst ads ever.
Here's Audi's simplistic, but clever one
The only think missing though is reliability lol
