No, it's not an advert, but a car in a dealers here in carmarthen, that has been sitting on the forecourt for 2 and a half years, was originally priced at £2700, but no takers, and sitting there deteriorating slowly, bodywork is fine, interior not bad, but no one wants to buy it!

I like the 75, ok its a Rover but beyond that it is my sort of car. Petrol V6 automatic would be lovely. I see plenty of them on the road so they can't be that bad surely.

Might as well weigh it in for scrap now surely, air-con, suspension, tyres, brakes and fluids will all have been affected if it's literally just stood there for years.

Its such a shame when you see lovely cars like that just sat there and nobody wants it. People will have gone in and paid more for a diesel Polo or something and overlooked the 75 and it makes me just want to run in and save it.

As a Wheeler dealers fan it seems even a car that 's been sat around for a while can be made good again. If you want it make an offer and a bit of tlc may have you a car that you have some rapport with.

The Rover 75 and MG ZT will certainly become sought after classic cars. With their retro styling they were shunned by the public but loved by the press. I remember the 75 being launched at the same time as the Jaguar S-Type. Many thought the Rover was the better design. Fortunately for Jaguar, the revised S-Type addressed much of the criticism of the car, which was originally launched.
