Apparently there has been a five-fold increase in the number of parking tickets handed out since 2001. A lot of this is because of CCTV use. The number of people successfully contesting them has risen considerably too.

I have never had a ticket; I always look for somewhere sensible to park and I don't mind walking from a car park f***her away. I have also never seen a traffic warden in Preston but I bet they exist!... Read more

Pump failure very common, these do not suffer stone chips though !

It wouldnt suprise me if they change the pump under warranty but fit a condensor and charge you for stone damage ! that way they double their money !...

The re commendation is actually PART synthetic 5W/30 but as PP says above 20w/50 for high mileage ones in summer;10w/30 in winter.
