Customer service? I waited for ages at a UK petrol station the other day, and not one person bothered to come out and serve me. I had to open the flappy thing on the side and turn the twisty thing, then insert the right coloured nozzle, squeeze triggers, and all sorts. Customer Schervice I say!
Green trees? It hasn't stop raining the whole time. The wipers on the car have had more use in the last two days than in the last two years....
Ka brake fluid warning light - I found that the float was full of fluid and had sunk. Is this a common problem? Read more
Yes it happens. Regards Peter
vw chico. I drive my vehicle for about 20km and go into the shops. When I try to start my car again it will not start again. It needs about 1/2 hour to stand before it starts again. I have replaced the spark plugs, renewed carburetor base gasket, clean carburetor and it still will not start once I switch off the car. Please help? Read more
I assume you mean that it turns over on the starter motor but doesn't fire?
Sounds like a vapour lock forming in the carb or fuel line. I take it that you are located in the southern hemisphere? Winter fuel will exacerbate this problem because it has a higher vapour pressure.

Ockham didn't invent the 'razor' part himself; it was added later by some baron whose name I forget. It was meant to signify the 'shaving' of any superfluous information.
I have heard rumours that there will be a new Panda later this year. Does anyone have any details please? Read more
I am looking for an older convertible, £3000 - £5000. It needs to be larger, not 2 seater sporty type, and econimical. I have been looking at the saab 9-3 1.9 tdi. Hopefully you can recommend some alternatives. Thanks. Read more
Thought of a volvo C70? They look good to me and will last years, no use buying a car because it does lots of mpg if it costs lots to repair and you have to change it in a couple of years. I run a 10 year old CLK convertible which I have had for three years, it's thankfully just passed the MOT and been serviced and I intend to keep it for a long time.
When starting the car everyday I have noticed that whilst in 1st gear and the clutch pedal is depressed as I am releasing the clutch I get a crunching sound from the clutch pedal. I notice it mostly when starting car. Any ideas what this could be?

trouble is when you try to sell it ,couple of years on it may have 160-170k miles.not only will value drop but very few would consider that car.look at like this.nearly 5 year old car, over 130k miles for £7995...doesn't sound tempting now.

I suspect that the bearings on the turbo shaft are well worn and oil is slowlt leaching into the ait intake and effectively being used as fuel. Regards Peter
