Well our Citreon C1 has just had its 3rd birthday, cant belive its come round this quickly but just sailed through its 3rd service & MOt at citreon. No advises and no problems reported iether.

Its only my 3rd car ever not requiring trips to and fro to the dealer in between services so for what it cost new its been just brilliant and then to Road tax today for just £20.00 for the year made me smile. The only two other cars that never needed a trip in between services were my X-type Jags... Read more

Cracking little car whichever badge they have, don't hear bad things from those in the know.

On some forums i read complaints of early clutch failure with these, but on motoring forums this doesn't get mentioned....maybe motoring enthusiasts learned to drive, and don't abuse the things.

hi guys

ive got a 2000 astra mk4 1.6 16v and 50% of the time it drives spot on smooth and quick. the other 50% of the time its will miss when you accelerate, feels same sort of symptoms like when you are running out of petrol and it starts juddering, then it will kick in again and be fine, recently changed oil and plugs so i can rule them out, any ideas would be greatly appreciated as i feel like throwing mi trolley jack through the windscreen at the moment lol....... cheers Read more

My wifes 1.6tdci o6reg c-max warms up fine with the gague reading at half way but when the blower fan is turned on the temp slowly drops to the quarter mark. Does any one know if this is normal? Read more

Thanks to you both. just been out in my octavia TDi and if heater set at medium setting temp gauge reads half way but if heater turned to hot and fan cranked up a few notches temp needle drops a bit. Would make sense that if cold outside heater can take heat away from engine.

Looking for a tug for our recently acquired caravan, I've decided on a Mitsubishi Shogun. To avoid paying higher rates of VED, a pre March 2001 model seemed a good bet. Found an interesting one on ebay .. but see that it is an import (seems many are). No worries as such .. I currently drive an imported car.

However, the car is a 2000 model, has a 'X' number plate but was registered in the UK in 2003. ... Read more

They won't change it unless you change the engine from say petrol to diesel. Or pop in a different capacity engine.

Even changing fuel from Petrol to LPG /petrol when you have a printout proving you emit fewer ceeohtwo's won't change their mind....

Good evening,

My employer has introduced a salary sacrifice for cars scheme. I have looked online at the employers website and obtained quotes for cars and have searched for alternative online calculators to check the numbers. In the end I made my own spreadsheet to crunch the numbers ad am so intrigued now as to be consulting an accountant to take a professionals advice to see if this scheme would be worthwhile for me.... The central locking has stopped working. I thought it was the keys but when the garage programmed a new one that would not work either. They then wanted to charge £700 to change a bit in the car. Does this seem reasonable. Would it be possible to do this as a DIY job. Many thanks for any help Read more

I am going to replace the track Rod Ends on my 1997 Fiat Bravo and attempt it myself. I just want to know if this is possible without the aid of using heat. In the past heat had to be used when adjusting my wheel alignment in some previous cars. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Read more

I have recently been informed that my ecu is shot, can anyone please suggest the next course of action... Obviously buying a new one is not gonna be feesable, as I expect they are worth far more than the car, so dont really wanna pay out for one. Is it therefore possibe to get mine repaired?? and if so could anyone recommend any good ecu repairers. Read more
