Saw the ad on TV yesterday.
Fiat is giving unlimited mileage 5-yr warranty on Bravo.
Surprising - where did they get confidence from?
Fiat Sedici is basically Suzuki SX4 - but is Bravo something similar?
Otherwise really commendable move from Fiat.

The Octavia arrived on Friday so the Honda has gone.
122k miles and 4 years 1 month, average economy 49.9 mpg.
Looking back it has been a very good car and has never (Nearly but not quite) left me stranded. Only comment to add to the 100k thread is that part of the immobiliser system was replaced about a month ago when the car refused to start but eventually did when locked and unlocked.
I am also convinced that some part of the ventilation system is on the way out since it stopped warming my feet and the steaming up has been far worse.
Will I miss it - Yes, but the £200 per month will be welcome.
No doubt it will appear at an Inchcape auction in the next week or so. Read more
My wife runs an 18 year old Honda(mmy ex-company car many moons ago) 149K and still going strong with recent new wheel bearings.I now run a Skoda Superb. After Peugeot,Vauxhall,Renault,Toyota,Ford etc over the years I feel this Skoda really is superb.Had it 18 months and average mpg is 49.5.I don't think i would choose a new Honda though, very, very pricey and now the Skoda stigma is all but gone they represent good value and are a pleasure to own and drive.Concrete
A collegue has 2000,reg beetle 2.0l. She is unable to open the boot/tailgate. The key fob opens the doors o.k but when you press to open the boot the lock makes the normal whirring noise but when you pull the lever it will not open. Putting the key in the boot lock doesn't work either. Any help would be appreciated. Read more

Have you put the plug leads back on in the correct order? Next time you change the plugs, do one at a time. Less confusion that way.

Has anyone replaced the standard door and rear deck speakers in a BMW e90 saloon? If so, could you please advise if you found exact fit, plug compatible, drop in replacements and what make these were?
I am very disappointed with the standard audio in my 325d but finding suitable replacement speakers is is subject to the usual veils of obfuscation and proprietary restrictive tricks.
Thanks in advance. Read more
I got a preliminary answer back from BMW last night, asking me for more details of the car. I'll wait and see if I get a detailed response from them. Thanks for the interest.
Otherwise enjoying the car.

The buttons on my radio stopped working even though the radio was playing. It had setup for awhile. The battery was weak so I thought it may have a problem with the security code but wasn't asking for it. Since the little card that tells what fuse the radio was is not there I disconnected the battery thinking that would reset it. When I reconnected the battery the radio now doesn't play and still doesn't ask for the code. Any ideas on what to do to fix it? Read more
Indeed. My GP had its first (18,000 mile service) last week. Dealer pointed out that there was a bit of a rattle from driver's door lock and a slight knock from the steering rack. I had noticed these but, frankly, forgot to mention them when I took the car in as they are both very slight and intermittent. Dealer told me he'd order up the parts and call me when they are ready to fit.
