A collegue has 2000,reg beetle 2.0l. She is unable to open the boot/tailgate. The key fob opens the doors o.k but when you press to open the boot the lock makes the normal whirring noise but when you pull the lever it will not open. Putting the key in the boot lock doesn't work either. Any help would be appreciated.
