BMW sculpture dominates Goodwood skyline

The Festival of Speed weekend celebrated BMW's 100th birthday with a huge sculpture that towered above Goodwood house. The steel structure featured three sweeping forms, with the BMW 328 Mille Miglia Roadster, the Gordon Murray-designed Brabham- BT52 and the Le Mans-winning BMW V12 LMR featured at the end of each.

The 110th anniversary of Renault was also marked on track, with a collection of old and new racers. One of the more contemporary attractions was the Renault ZE15 (pictured). The electric single seater competes in the electric Formula E series and was driven at Goodwood by French racing driver Charles Pic.
