Hello, can anyone help with the required adjustment to my car with the following message, engine management light illuminates with "antipollution warning" and when checked with OBD2 and Torque light APP shows the following:- P0238 TURBO / SUPERCHARGER BOOST SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT HIGH.

Before you adjust, change or replace anything, get a proper diagnostic done with someone who has the Lexia and Planet / Diagbox equipment. The live data and parts testing this equipment can do will tell you loads more than Torque.

I already have 10 points from just over 2 years ago, so far I've just received a letter asking if it's me driving, obv I will say it was. But my questions are as follows
Do I pay nearly a £1000 for a lawyer ?
Is there a chance of getting a short ban as solicitors keep saying I can?

Wonder if the OP's case has been heard yet? :-)
Hi All, I have really been struggling to find my next car of choice which I intend to keep for the next few years. I want it to be slightly luxurious, no bigger than medium sized, ideally an automatic (but no biggie), petrol, and more importantly have all the extra such as pano roof, heated seats and sensors or reverse camera. Honestjohn recommended a Kia Venga/ Hyundai IX20 but are there anymore recommendations? Something more luxury feel? Read more
Mercedes C class would be high on my list, £10 should get a good one with a warranty. 1.8 petrol would suit by he sound ofit.

I would add that the turbo needs to be cooled after a longish run, for a few minutes, in other words never instantly switch off the engine, or drive gently for the last 1-2 miles of a journey.
so i've had my car for 5 years now and always used shell v-power.when i first started using it it was 7pence a litre more expensive than normal unleaded now 5 years on my 2 local stations are charging 10pence and 11pence more a litre.getting a bit expensive me thinks. Read more
Super diesel is an interesting debate. HJ has been routinely recommending it for years and saying that he hasn't had any fuel system problems....but then nor have many of us who have never used it.
I've always found that the price differential between the regular and super stuff is quite significant here in the North East, and the odd time I have "treated" my cars to it have noticed no difference in performance or mpg. HJ is always claiming you'll get better mpg because you will have more torque from lower revs and therefore be able to change up early. I definitely haven't noticed this. He also says manufaturers say their vehicles are calibrated with it- this may well be the case, who knows?...

The astravan was a great, I never understood why GM moved away from a niche product that had appeal and a following.
