Thought provoking letter in the Daily Mail. What happens if you are stuck in a blizzard for hours in your limited range EV. Presumably you will very quickly run out of battery for drive and heat. At least with conventional fuel that would not be the case unless you were stupid enough not to set out with a reasonable tank. Read more

Just caught something on the news today about more houses being fitted with charging points for electric cars, or did they say that more charging points should be fitted, either way, the issue will be power generation if demand goes up, we are already being warned of blackouts in winter.

Building regulations are being altered to include fitting of EV electric sockets on every new build, so they say, not sure when it comes in but won`t be long from the sound of it

And they are only going to make 999 of them... Are there really 999 muppets?

Still, if they do, it'll be nearly £40.000.000 for the exchequer.. Read more

I read a road test not that long ago between the Bentley Bentayga and the Range Rover autobiography, which at the time as the top of the range. I think it was around £135. The verdict was that while the Range Rover was undoubtably a fine car, it's interior quality was some way short of what buyers of cars at this price point would expect. They mentioned the column stalks felt 'nasty', and that 'Lexus wouldn't send out a £35k car with a glovebox lid so reluctant to close, never mind one that costs £135k'. They also went on to point out that companies like Overfinch are better at making the Range Rover a Bentayga rival.

The Bentayga, while somewhat challenging in the looks department, had a much higher quality of interior more in keeping with it's price....

wow, I love it. High-rollers have little trouble locating an online casino because gaming firms cater to them. They invest a lot of money and time. However, if you have a limited budget, your options are limited, and selecting a low-deposit website may be challenging. Fortunately, there are still lots of options to try; you just need to know where to look for reputable casinos like Instant Withdrawal Online Casinos

The personification of boring! Why with their highly successful R5/WRC2 rally operations and sporting history do Skoda not even offer a warm hatch Fabia variant? (Hyundai with their i20 R5 car and massive - much appreciated by enthusiasts - WRC big- budget operation are guilty too). Ford's Fiesta St-Line with up to 140PS, VW's Polo equivalent and others are clearly showing the way sales, desirability and performance package wise. In other words, there are some delightfully accomplished affordable warm hatches out their but sadly over recent years not from boring old Skoda. Why after a highly successful 'reinvention' of it's image down the years is Skoda now travelling in the reverse direction with its bland, uninspiring and utilitarian Fabia? (The photos appear to show yet another uninspired sheep-in-wolf's-clothing (not-so) 'Special'?). Read more
