My daughter's washers have packed up, you can hear the pump working just no water out of the jets front or back screens.
Running the garden hose into the bottle filler pipe crud starts to flush itself so my question is rather than stripping out to get to the bottle itself ( I'm thinking wheel off, inner lining out ect ) is there a cleaning agent I can use to descale the inside the bottle and flush through the pipes/... That's a lot of money - has anyone else noticed the phenomenal increase in car prices over the past few years (especially when a model is replaced or face-lifted)?
I thought this model started out as a VW Tiguan / Nissan Qashqai rival - not any more!
I don't know how so many people can afford new cars these days - even superminis - maybe they've been taken in by finance deals and are treating car ownership like a mortgage, i.e. only concentrating on the monthly cost rather than the eye-watering total bottom-line price. Read more

Hi,
I've recently been sold a car as having full service history however the 1st service was 2 months late. Does this mean the car doesn't have a full service history? The dealer suggested when questioned that because it was on the forecourt it didn't need to be serviced. Is this true?... Read more
If it was due it's first ANNUAL service and then was on the forecourt for 2 months--then all would be well. If the first service had been done at "25,000/2 years " at 26 months -I would have walked away, fast!
Looking at a 64/15 plate facelift A6. Questions.... Are the super cool sweeping indicators standard on s line spec and also I have read reviews about this ad blue needing to be added for diesel variants? Read more
Hello, I ned some advice because I've read conflicting info. I am thinking of getting a diesel mazda 6 but have read a post on here about the DPF issues with the Mazdas but I have also read that it's DPF's in generall that are an issue.
So I have a few question to help clear things up.... Read more
I think it's easy to put this one to bed. From now on whenever this crops up I'll suggest the OP uses the registration number of any car Rio, Cee'd or Civic they're looking which was registered in 2011 and ask the question of Kia or Honda customer services directly. Life's too short for squabbles.
I'll probably be changing my Honda CRV this year, as it's ten years old now and getting a bit tatty. It's a 2.0 petrol auto, and while it's no ball of fire, it's been a good reliable car.
I'm looking at the Volkwagen Tiguan, and I'm wondering what the views are of the effect the emissions scandal will have on prices. Are dealers keener to discount (a good thing), or will the main effect be on the second-hand resale prices in a few years time (a bad thing).... Read more
There's also a new CRV imminent which will feature an all new 190bhp 1.5 turbo that will make your old 2.0 feel like it's powered by coal. This engine is already in the new UK built Civic and has been well received. Knowing Honda and the fact that they're late to the downsizing forced induction party it's likely they'll be thoroughly tested and will prove as robust as any other Honda engine.
Big weakness of the current model is the limited options you have if you want an auto. It's either the flaccid but reliable 2.0 petrol (lacks torque in such a big car) or the costly 1.6 twin turbo diesel and 4wd. The excellent single turbo 1.6 diesel is strong enough to cope with it and it would have been popular with an auto option, I'd certainly have opted for it. So I'm not sure what engines and specs will be available with the auto on the new car but it is due this year. Certainly worth waiting on if your own is still running fine but also means there will be deals on the current model to shift stock. Every Honda dealer has rows of the things because they're their best selling car in the U.K. next to the Jazzwww.autoexpress.co.uk/honda/cr-v/97872/new-honda-c...w
My rear offside rear seat heater comes on by itseljust and gets very hot.
The dealers says that they are unable to locate a fault. Read more
Perhaps you can get the seat heater disconnected while the dealer makes further investigations.I would think there is some electronics controller that regulates the heating.

if they are operated like the cameas elsewhere - half the time they will be used for no reason, "cry wolf" is the thought - last Sunday early evening M25 travelling clockwise from A10 towards M11 then A12, speed reduced to 60 with warning of incident, but nothing there, eventually limit was returned to 70, clear road all the way!
Perhaps every one of these should have a hotline contact telephone number under the display so that passengers may call and check the validity / need of the restriction (not drivers for obvious reasons)
Thanks for the advice, I shall try the Dettol first, then rig up the garden hose to reverse blast out the bottle and then as the final resort access the bottom of the bottle and remove the pump, I didn't think there might be a strainer fitted makes sense.
Thank you all.
