Hi guys I'm considering getting a car to replace my beautiful trusty Audi TT. I love it in every way but perhaps a midlife crisis and an unexpected remortgage is pushing me to get something faster.

I didn't see any connection either - apart from the fact theoretically could have refused consent. I defend the actual monarchy but disagree with its existence. Not as contradictory as it sounds.
I agree with what you say about the monarchy but I do see it as symbolic of our class ridden society. Also what happens to the income - I suspect much goes to wealthy hotel shareholders etc. Those that have tend to get the most. A book that had a great effect on me is Robert Tressel's classic, ' The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists'. Its worth a read As for Scotland my brother is a strong suppporter - I agree with you....

I bought a Vauxhall Corsa in December which had a JVC stereo fitted.
I've gone to take the faceplate off and found that it just won't come free. It's definitely a detachable one as it says so in the manual. Pushing the release button and trying to slide it over to the left does nothing.
Is there something I'm missing? Many thanks.

It's screwed in on the left hand side, you'll need to remove the stereo.

Im in the process of advertising my car for sale, circa £13k on the web. Mindful of not being scammed and losing both the car and money, Ive been telling interested buyers I'll only accept cleared funds via a cheque.
This seems to have put a few people off and I accept that for some, travelling a couple of hundred miles to view the car, they dont want to leave me a cheque and wait 4 days for it to clear before coming back to collect it.... Read more
Had a word with my 2 banks today (Yorkshire & Santander) on options.
Cash over the counter, no problem, they'll count and check each note is valid and not a counterfeit. Might have to provide proof the cash is from sale of car else there may be questions on money laundering especially if your account doesnt routinely see such high value transactions....

How much free play is there? LImit in MOT guidance is 380mm (about an inch and a half).
The drivers side front indicator only works sometimes. The lights at the back work fine as do the left side. We have changed the bulb holder but problem is still there. Any suggestions?
