So have a mondeo with little history on the car, non stater (well runs for a second or two)
List of DTC's present (autoboss) are as follows :-
p0098 IATS2 Circuit high input
p0087 Fuel rail/system pressure to low
p0299 T/S charger underboost
P0089 Fuel rail pressure sensor circuit malfunction
P0113 Intake air temp circuit high input
p0003 G SIGNAL - no G Signal

Wouldn't they only be activated when reverse is selected?
If so then I'd have thought there's no need to de-activate them.

I have just had the pads and discs fitted in the UK on a Honda Insight it cost 230ukp complete.
My partner had his car hit by a lorry, damaging the rear drivers side.
Car is still drivable but will need bodywork carried out and the lorry company have accepted responsibility and have said they don't want to go through their insurers they'll pay direct.
They say they normally pay the garage direct but due to the location of the body shop repair garage and my partners work commitments he isnt sure when he can take time off to book the car in.
The garage dont offer a collect and delivery service so we have asked that the lorry company pay us direct so we can get the repairs carried out at our convenience - they refuse to do this but want the job booked in so they can "box off" the incident.
Do they have a right to dictate when we get the car repaired? Read more

Correct but the 1.6 is not a Blacktop. Its the Zetec SE that is also called the Sigma. Its the engine used in the Fiesta mainly....
Hi, I hope someone here can help me.
my grand voyager developed a weird fault. Suddenly when you opened the doors the wing mirrors started opening and closing which they have never done since I had it. next time I got in it it wouldntt start, its very sluggish battery and wont fire. I tried jump start and is still sluggish, tried charging battery for 2 days and still sluggish. Had a diagnostic check and it shows nothing. Does anyone have any ideas what may be the cause as my local mechanic has no clue. so dont want to start replacing various parts trying to find the problem. Thanks for that, however The battery is fine. Its also had a booster pack and still the same. mechanic just phonedf me and hes heard it could be the starter motor as these are prone to clogging up and wont turn the engine over fast enough. Will have to try that I guess.

I'm getting a dull "beat" / throb which seems road speed related and seems to come from the rear, although I'm not absolutely sure of that. It's not engine speed related and it's not very loud.. Any bright ideas, please?

Ply seperation can cause this, in fact its the most likey cause, it could be due to a fault in the tyre rather than anything that has happened to it.

Vw sharan 2006 2.0 tdi driver and passenger windows stoped working and sometime when i am driving both work i thought may be the electric window switch it has 4x window central locking switch so changed it still the same, any ideas what could be causing this???

Check the wiring where it runs from the door to the pillar,through the rubber tube.Very common to find broken or fractured wires here.
