one of my airbags has deployed in my 2002 peugeot 406 from the side of the drivers seat so i replaced the seat with a 2000 peugeot 406 one and connected the wires but no go how can i fix this? Read more

Yesterday, I was unfortunate enough to be at home during the day with very little to do. Upon carrying out the weeks most important tasks - taking advantage of a Strongbow offer at Sainsburys and making a bacon sandwich - I viewed some late morning television.
I am familiar with Bargain Hunt and the endless property shows - presumably aimed at the retired - but I happened across one of those 'consumer advice' shows fronted by Angela Rippon, in between having her face revarnished. It's like Watchdog but worse, at least Watchdog occasionally features some news but I'd call this program 'whiney hour.'... Read more
The trouble is that daytime TV is aimed at - and to a large degree watched by - m****s, so the TV companies don't want to overestimate the intelligence of their audience.
In that, they are, I feel, quite successful.

I came around a bend to find all bricks in my path, by this time I knew I was going to hit them (which I did). This blew 2 tyres and took me into the part of wall that was still standing. Insurance say it a fault claim and to recover any monies. Is this worth pursuing?... Read more

Despite rigidly maintaining the manufacturers recommend tyre pressures, all four tyres on my car are showing signs of additional wear on the shoulders relative to the centre of the tyre. (Approx extra 0.8mm per 8000miles) I'm even using the ECO recommendation from Volvo which for my car is the same tyre pressure to be used as if fully loaded. All wheels and tyres were brand new too!
Motoring logic tells me the tyres have been under-inflated but I'm already running at the highest pressure as dictated by Volvo.... Read more

If its on both the inside and outside edges its probably just a charisteristice of a large, heavy car....

I have fitted eps from Corsa C etc. But need to convert the ignition switch from the corsa c to use the Corsa B ignition swith but need to use the Corsa C housing with the corsa B internals due to direct 12v connections.
