If you bought the car from a dealer then you biught it under SOGA the warranty is worthless take it back and ask for it to be repaired - didn´t you notice it before you bought it?

Here we go again.... This is similar to a post I made in July last year!

My daughter decided to bite the bullet and buy another car, given the audi a3 she purchased last year has had problem after problem, to the point of costing her a fortune in repaires.... Read more

Tricia might well have taken our advice - but her daughter wants to be seen in an Audi.

As the number plate lamps are such a chore to change, I decided to fit LED's. I've ended up changing them more than the filament versions!

They generally starting flickering, then fail. I had used these in the dashboard of motorbike, perfectly reliably.... Read more

Funny you say that - I ordered some CANBUS suitable LEDs from here www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290617034689?ssPageName=STRK:ME...9 (I don't have a warning for the number plate lights but figured it was worth trying.) and they seem to be lasting fine.

I'm also using them in the dimming rear lights, as I had two left over. I don't know how well they'll cope with the dimming though!

You reject the fpn because of the clerical error (which has no credence) and they will process the matter to a Court where in addition to your lost time etc they will fine and add on CPS Prosecution fee (£35 -£50) plus another £15 Victims Support supplement....

Hi everyone

I have a 2009 grand voyager which needs a replacement HID H7, replacement break light bulb and replacement indicator strips for the wing mirrors - the wing mirrors are fine but I've broken the indicators on both sides (whoops).

The Chrysler dealership is quoting £198 for the bulb - the car has factory fitted xenon HID's. Online the max quoted online is £70!

I just want to make sure that I can just by a bulb as the garage are telling me that as it's factory fitted I need to buy a whole kit.

I am also trying to find out the cost of the wing mirror bits but I have no idea what they are called so can't find them online.

Any advise would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Where can I buy the transparent adhesive paint protection films that go around the wheel arch?

I have just had a scrape reprayed and need just one film. Do the main dealers sell them in singles?

Fitting a new film will fully disguise the paint work repair. And maybe prevent some future scrapes...

If I can get one cheapish, I will.

When I bought my 08 plate Mondeo 2.2 tdci Titanium X I was surprised to find that on occasion there was a very slight hesitation when driving at 30 in 4 th and 40 in 5 th . I first I thought it was just me but later found that this was happening at exactly 1400 rpm and only when on very light throttle. I searched the Internet and found that others were experiencing the same problem, many had taken their cars to Ford under warranty, but there did not seem to be a fix, indeed one Ford dealer suggested driving in 3 rd in town to overcome the problem.... Morning Everyone,

My car was covered in ice this morning, and to my horror I couldn't unlock my car with the electronic key. It was dead, I couldn't unlock the boot either. I tried warm water to remove the ice (thinking the sensor might be covered - clutching at straws) but it wouldn't work. I also tried using my wifes key.... Read more
