The boot on the car is not unlocking, either by remote or manually using the door locks. The doors unlock and lock as does the petrol filler flap. The light on the fob is illuminating. The only thing i have noticed since the problem occured, is that the noise of the locking and unlocking is sounding quite tired. maybe just me ! Need to get this sorted and dont want to be ripped off if the solution is simple and i can sort it. Read more
Hi don't know if you've sorted this but I had exactly the same problem with my megane coupe. There's a little motor (kind of like a scalextric car motor) which winds the lock up and down. It's easy to replace as it's only held with a couple of torx screws. It's mounted behind the button for the boot. Hope this helps.
Done 62k miles and the dreaded "diesel fuel additive minimum level" message came up along with the particulate filter light on the top right hand side of the speedo dash.

The guy that had it before me was an old gimma, caravan club etc. It had done 48k miles. The first time I did a long journey, it came up with emission control fault, went in to limp mode for a while. Then it started working OK. I drive fast and hard. I think the filter had been blocked with gimma driving! Since then its been burned clean!

Hi starts as you would expect when cold with a small amount from exhaust but as engine gets warmer when you rev it you get a cloud come out the exhaust.
Not sure where to go next or maybe just sell as spares
Hi... Ive recently had the power steering rack and motor replaced on my wifes C3 1.4 desire. The steering works fine now however when stationary if you turn the steering wheel lock to lock there is a creaking noise, the noise also occurs at low speeds ie manouvering of drive, parking etc. The sound appears to be coming from the steering rack area. Im hoping something just needs lubricating!!! There is no loose trim or anything like that. I would appreciate any help please... Thankyou. Read more
Had this previously on a different car when one of the lower ball joints was wearing out.
It didn't have any discernable play in it but cured the noise when changed.
I have Nissan Micra 1.0L - 52 plate since a year. From last few days it is giving problem of not starting up. When I start car from cold it starts up with normal engine noice. It runs for few miles and stalls at some point when engine RPM is less. Attempting starting the car at this point, Engine management light turns on and car don't start. There is no spark from spark plug. If I wait for engine to cool down for about an hour car starts back normal and it runs again for few miles and repeats the same. Engine management light stays on after car starts up. If i drive 2-3 short intervals Engine management light turns off it self. I have tried replacing spak plugs and HT colils but no luck.I would highly appreciate any help regarding this. Read more

if it has Climate Control very likely the gears have stripped on flap heater flap motors. Peugeot do have a repair kit for this as know problem
Difficult to describe my issue. The engine appears to misfire under anything other than very very gentle acceleration. If I apply the gas as you would in normal driving then suddenly all power disappears the engine splutters, the revs increase all be it slowly. Sometimes when you reach higher revs then the engine becomes smooth again and all power returns at the same time. Sometimes the engine is fine through the whole rev range. Most of the time you can pull away gently but not any more than that, when i say gently imagine the speed of a small child on a pushbike for the first time. I have changed the plugs, the leads, the coil pack. I've tried disconnecting the MAF engine is no different whatsoever, tried disconnecting the lambda, this made the engine slightly improve on idle but no change to driving. The idle is smooth except when the AC is on, then it struggles and 'pops', disconnecting lambda stops this.

I received a Fixed Penalty Notice from the police on 9/5/2011, however the date on the ticket stated 9/5/2010. I asked the police if this invalidated the ticket; it does not, and I still have to pay. The only other option is to take it to court.. Do I bother? I'm a student so a £30 penalty is a lot to me! Police officers should not be making mistakes like this! Read more
Frankly I don't believe a word of this Lucy. Surely it would be the other party who are wasting time if you were in Majorca at the time. If the magistrates have become no more than a rubber stamp there's no hope left.

I dont know in numbers but most cars should be left hand thread, the reason is due to the way a rope is woven ! although most people use towing bars these days if a rope is used when under tension it trys to unwind by design hence a towing eye being left hand thread.
