The tsunami that hit Japan has had a huge impact on the country's car production and supply chain.Japan is the world's third-largest car market, but it was already suffering from a slump in demand due to the global financial crisis. The main reason for this is that the disaster has caused damage to the supply chain in Japan. You should check here for help in essay. As a result, there will be shortages of parts and components which will affect production at Japanese automakers including Toyota and Honda. Read more
hi, my pug 306 cut out just after starting (i think the earth wire on the battery came loose and lost connection) but when i put it back on all the ignition lights stay on without the key in. The car does start but it has to be stalled to cut it out. I had a friend take a look and says the starter is ok but is unsure exactly what is causing it. he said it maybe the brown 15 pin connector bolted to the back of the ecu case but wasnt sure as to what it is for. As he was taking a look he noticed a wire running fom one of the fuses in the fuse box next to the battery to a square black connector at the top of the fuse box and said that shouldnt be there like its bypassing something. Also if this helps the car has had a light driver side bang just damaging the wing, light and bumper. Ok wall of text over, If anyone has any idea what could be wrong that would be great thanks. Hi
I've had my Clio for 5 months never had any starting problems until recently. I changed the battery in the key fob it worked for a week then suddenly the engine turned over but kept cutting out as the immobiliser light kept flashing. I disconnected the battery and this semi-solved the problem.
I had to attempt 3 times before the car would start but then it drove perfectly. I had a friend clean the components inside the key fob but it didn't solve the problem and now it's really difficult to get it to start at all! If I go out I have to leave the car running (recently got stuck in a supermarket carpark!) I'm really hoping that it's not the immobiliser! Unfortunately I don't have a spare key fob. Any suggestions???? Help please!!!! Read more

At my time of life, ie: balding but not to wrinkly, my vehicle really must have automatic transmission, due to traffic density & my wish to reduce driving stress.
So I need a b/c sized 5 door, with reasonable performance, quiet cruising and an efficient auto giving good mpg.... Read more
Yes at 30K I had some issues with some bent valve stems but I wasn't running any flashlube..then. When we opened it up I was expecting to see some VSR due to the symptoms but nope - none, nada, zip.
The bent valve stems though were a catastrophe.
Nissan claim it's the LPG I fail to see how they could bend from that. I saw that they are very thin stems indeed - IMHO I don't think they are up to the job myself. Good news for Nissan as they were able to weasel out of the warranty. Bad news for me.
Symptoms...stalling when cold won't idle, zero power etc. No compression at all on one cylinder and low on two others. Head needed repairing too.
Very heavy petrol consumption (seventeen mpg) which I was assured was due to the 'cold weather' 'nothing wrong with it sir'. Like running around with the choke out all the time. After that load of cods from the dealer , when it stalled driving out the car park just I lost it. So I took it to my local independent chap who did a proper job investigating it and so I had him fix it.
The block and cylinders were (get this) utterly unmarked. So bent valve stems, running like a sick pig but no other damage. The inside was covered in a carboniferous sticky gum from the excessive petrol usage.
Once it warmed up, switched over to LPG it actually ran better! Still way down on power though. I've had several vehicles on LPG with no trouble up to this one.
Running sweet now though. While it was in bits I fitted a driptube flashlube. If you take the head off make sure you get all the bits to put it back together first. The head gasket took ages to source and cost a shedload. The head also had to be skimmed and there's only about three thou of tolerance. Mine has used 1.5 of those. It now has nice new hard valve seats, some new valves etc Should be fine now. It does about 18K a year. I was without it for some time. Now I have the car and less cash!
Actually would have been quicker and cheaper to buy a used engine from fleabay!
My hood has stopped working, seems the electrics are not engaging. I just had a PSE pump fitted and it was fine before that and the main dealer reprogrammed it on the computer. could this be the problem. They say a fault showed up but it as not there before....thats £600 again sir as we think you need a control unit. Read more

Well I have left it with my claim handler to deal now. I will contact the my actual insurance company to discuss.
I have taken lots of photos and will take more, He caught the rear corner of the car and the quarter has an inward ding on it on the flat surface inline with the rear hatch only about 4-5cm's, then some score line along the side of the quarter and some scuff marks on the bottom rear bumper that then run along the side of the bumper....
Does anyone have any comment regarding the the use of this product.Have been offered the complete job for £300 by supplying garage but have found a reputable supplier who will do the same job with the the usual manufacturers garantee for £200. Read more
200ukp I am in the wrong job what a rip off.

yeah, thanks as for the wire i took it off today and the car will not start without it. So woud this be also a relay problem? would it be the small black square plug the wire is connected to in the fuse box or the brown plug behind the ecu. Just cant afford to get a garage involved because i'm broke lol
