Hey Mark,
Would you really go for the 5008?
I only ask as our Kodiaq has been a great car generally for the last few years BUT we have had constant electrical gremlins and have been in and out of the dealer more times than I care to remember.
It’s time to change the car soon and I’m not sure I want anything from VAG now... so back to the original question... why the 5008? Many thanks... and keep up the great work!
Hi there not sure if I’ll get the answer on here. Picked up a brand new 69 plate Skoda superb L&K. Went to put on the re de mister but doesn’t come on light doesn’t illuminate and the rear screen doesn’t de-mist. Very odd I’ll try the dealer when they reopen. Just wondering if anyone has an idea as to who it won’t work?

Hi
I just wanted to see if anyone knows of any problems with certain petrol station nozzles when filling up their cars. Some garages have longer length nozzles but they are hard to find.
Is this a problem with Clio’s.
Obviously a longer nozzle can open the flap at the back but most garages have short ones and this is causing me a nightmare.
Do Clio’s have longer holes - sorry.
Any info would be great as it takes me ages to fill up my car.
Thanks in advance. Read more
Never come across such a problem. But in the past some automatic pump cut outs have been too keen. Got around that by rotating the nozzle by 90° , worked for me.

Hi there , I’m going car crazy ! Driving me round the bend literally!
I’m looking at a car for me and my son. I’m a single dad so money is tight ! A small car is fine as I have a small drive but will consider all can always park on road.
Ideally looking for reliability to do at least 40 miles a day and then adventures on the weekend ! Don’t want to spend money on repairs and other issues. PCP ? Maybe not as I have visions of sweets and dirt in car ? But open to options.
Low Tax and insurance and good Mpg and a good warranty.
Main issues I’ve had previous is repair bills so just want a happy life with no major issues ? Good warranty ?
Budget unfortunately not a lot £100 a month purely @ top end and no deposit unless you will take my Corsa Which is 2003 and done 82000 miles petrol will fail MOT on a host of things £1000 repair bill !
What deals have you got ? I’m shopping around and cheapest and best will get my sale.
Hope you can help.

Back again what’s your opinion on this ! Approved used Hyundai I10 No deposit 0% 5 years 30,000 miles petrol 2017 plate 1.0 litre £108 a month over 5 years ? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for your help
Well its better than an almost 7 year old Jazz that will at best have a worthless dealer warranty. But its still the best part of 3 years old and that means only 2 years Hyundai warranty left and that only applies if the car has been meticulously serviced to Hyundai's requirements.
After 5 years you will have paid £6480 for the car which will then be 8 years old and possibly have been costing you money in repairs for the last 3 years, all 5 yuears if the warranty conditions have not been met....

Looks like the car could have some serious suspension damage , possible chassis out of alignment. Take the money and look for something else.
I've started but new contract last week it lasts for 12-months everyday I'll be driving 150 miles round trip 4 days a week only not sure which car to buy at the moment I have a 12 years old Golf TDI 1.9 is the company laois a better option than a PCP I'm looking for a comfortable mid-range SUV and if it comes with some latest gadgets nothing like it my budget is is approximately £10,000 for 3 years any suggestions will be grateful Read more
I am not a fan of PCP/Lease for a person to enter especially 2nd hand as there are no 0% /low interest from manufacturer - Lease can be OK for companies.
600+ miles per week crucifies lease/PCP especially on 2nd hand cars. ...
Hello,
I decided to spend £4000 for new used car from minimum year 2010.
I am looking at Toyota auris 1.6 automatic and Honda Civic 1.8 automatic. Performance and handling are not the most important things for me. I know that in this area civic is better car but what the most important for me are reliability(1000 miles trips), good mpg, and most important comfortable drivers cabin, seats and low noise inside a car. Will auris excel over civic in those areas?

The rear vision on the Civic is always slated as being restricted by forum pundits, but combined with the proper use of the large door mirrors it is more than adequate.
I had an 07 FN3 Civic as a driving school car and never had a pupil fail for mirror use or observation....
Browsing Autotrader this morning and came upon this 29 year old Mazda 626 for £445!. No mention in the ad of MOT so i'm thinking it either hasn't got one or is very short. No, went on the Gov. website and it is MOT'd till next July!. Seems to good to be true, if i lived closer, i'd go and have a look with a view to buying it!,

Ah memories. I flogged loads of these in the 90’s, we seemed to get them in regularly against Galants and Carisma’s. No bother with any of them but I didn’t really like the auto choke which sent revs souring until the thing would heat up.
By gum, it’s ugly. How can it wear a Mustang badge?
