My advice then is to go to another MB franchise who are actually interested in selling cars.
I can understand this policy on the 500 bhp+ stuff MB do, but on a max 110 hp smart they don't deserve any custom and I would name and shame.

I would steer clear of any model Vw that uses this 3 cylinder"made of chocolate "engine.I have seen timing chains worn and broken with catastrophic engine failure on cars as new as 2012.

The car is in Aus where they have mandatory third party only insurance combined with their road tax and additional Ins had just lapsed!
Thieves entered the house took only the car keys for the two family cars, money and laptops not touched, tried to break in to another home, were disturbed and drove off, returned half an hour later and drove off with the other vehicle. meanwhile family thinking it was other family members moving about the house consequently did not challenge them.maybe just as well!!...
Out for a pub lunch and our trusty Focus starts misfiring, flashing orange engine light. Limp back 20miles on 3 cyls to indy, attaches computer diagnostic screen, 'lean mixt 4 cyl', told to bring back tomorrow and he'll try and fix it. Said it might be a duff plug.
Limp home, extract 23,000m old plugs;1,2 & 3 look grey and dry, 4 darker, slightly oily. Replace with old 50,000m plugs (yes, I hoard things which might be useful..) which were working perfectly at 102,000m when I replaced them - same misfire. ... Read more

There seems to have been a change. When you select a make and model, you see a list of the reviews, but they are no longer colour coded according to the users' opinions. It means that you can no longer see, at a glance, what most users think is a rubbish car or, conversely, a brilliant one. Or is it just me? If not, what's the thinking behind the change? Read more
