started fine friday but would not next day, did not use glow plugs and blue smoke came out of exhaust, left till sunday used glow plugs untill light went out DID NOT turn engine over did this three times then tried to start engine, still will not start and blue smoke came out of exhaust, I used glow plug untill light went out before turning engine over. if one glow plug fails to work, does this stop all the plugs from working. Any other idea's would be helpfull

Very common problem with timing chains on Mazda 6 ! They can also run cranks !

The EU is run by lobbyists for lobbyists. You have to ask "qui bono?" (I think). Stringent emissions mean that certain industries benefit from manufacturing DPFs, for example.
Light bulb manufacturers love the fact that all motorists have to carry a spare set, just in case, even though they can't actually fit them. Makes no sense whatsoever, but that isn't the point....

For those reasons the Lupo got quite a good press at the time. Its successor, the Fox, wasn't much liked, but now most people rave about the Up. Strange!

Was in my kerbside cowboy days then, very quickly became apparent that all you did to Corolla and Bluebirds was service them and replace friction parts when needed, which was simplicity itself as they were (and still are in some cases) made to be maintained easily....
FiL is looking at changing his 2006 Scenic diesel for a 2 year old Nissan Note diesel. He's had had lots of expensive problems with the Renault but am I right that the Nissan has the same engine given the strategic alliance between Renault and Nissan? Read more

The problem wasn't the handbrake, but rather that it was left in drive/reverse.
Most handbrakes are easier to remove if you press the footbrake as well....
