Hello,
I like the new Skoda Citigio, especially with the 75 bhp engine and 5 doors and am considering buying one. The problem is that I know several people who drive Skodas, various models and vintages and they all let water in. This is one of the most annoying things to have on a car in my opinion, in fact it would drive me crazy! I have had it on some cars I have owned and I never sorted it nor did any garages I tried. I would hate to change vehicle and find this problem. I would love to hear from any Citigio owners on this.... Read more
The only Skoda I know that leaks at all is the Superb 1 which suffers from the Audi A4/Passat plenum chamber drain issue that came with the design they inherited from VW, the Seat Exeo is already suffering from this problem. I have an Octavia and it is water tight as is every other Skoda I have ever come across. The driver's electric window has started to go down (open) by itself. It has happened while the car is parked and locked overnight. It has also happened repeatedly while I have been driving. I repeatedly have to press the button to close and even then it may repeatedly fight against me. The problem seemt to affect the passenger rear window by refusing to open. I have had to replace the battery about 7 month ago and again recently it went flat during cold weather. I'm wondering if there is a connecting and maybe a piece of equipment has been deprogrammed and needs to be reset. Any advice would be welcome. Read more

I have a Mazda MX5 which has served me well for over 2 years. I am looking to upgrade and wondered what were the options if I went for another convertible costing less than £8,000? Would a performance car such as a Jaguar or Porsche Boxter prove to be troublesom ore expensive? Maybe I should just go with another MX5? Read more

The two systems are interlinked & both use info from the ABS sensors. Probably just a faulty ABS sensor but you will need to get the fault codes read to point you in the right direction.
Does anyone know the route/ times of the Monte Carlo classic rally:Glasgow to Dover?
