So long as you way up the drawbacks of LPG it could be the way to go.
Don't forget that adding a LPG system to a modern fuel injected car adds another layer of complexity to it. After owning a 'certified' LPG car I would say that you need to pick the car, the installer and LPG system very carefully. Yes you need it servicing but a poor local installer is a far worse option than a quality service miles away. Genuine references are everything with LPG installs. If the car develops a fault with it's native petrol system then expect the fault to be magnified with LPG. As well as losing power you'll also lose MPG with a LPG system. As noted by others you'll lose space somewhere and filling up can be a slow process depending on the tank type....

That discussion thread is for the P11, whilst you probably have the P12 (new shape, pre-facelift model) car
Took the old Meggie out for a good run today. How interesting!
But with a difference. I've had the lower radiator grille raped over for over a year now. But I thought I'd go the whole hog and tape over the entire grille and see how long it took for the coolant to completely heat soak. (I have a non-buffered temperature gauge so this is quite safe). Mixed brisk drive, some motorway, mainly A roads.... Read more
If there's no undertray then you'll get all sorts of currents in front and behind the block once you're moving at anything above 30mph, I'd reckon.
When I had my old BGT V8 I used to block the grille entirely in winter, the coolant temp reached 'normal' much quicker than when the grille was exposed, but it didn't seem to affect the actual running temperature (not from the analogue water / oil temp gauges, anyway)

Don't honestly understand the question. Do you mean it turns over slowly on the starter or is slow when you drive it (or both even)
whilst driving ive noticed an intermittant loss of power abit like when you'rerunning out of fuel then it drives fine for a bit then does it again and got worse recently then clear up for a bit then came back but this time when it happened was accompanied by a sound that i can only describe as very similar to that of driving along the rumble strip on the motorway but if you push your foot down on the accelerator and speed up it clears for a bit, obviously its a fueling issue of some sort but was wondering how to sort it out as never had peugeots before and new to them Read more
I can't really see a connection with the noise but if the filter is blocked it can lead to fuel starvation which cause hessitation. The Hdi's can suffer with oil filter noise but if yours is an XUD I can't really make a connection.
Is there a way for me to replace the standard (half profile) crap ford stereo with a modern, standard sized unit?
As I assume the standard unit has no buffer worth talking about it jumps at every bump!... Read more
I had a look on ebay there are plenty of single din conversion fusion plates so you can fit any single din unit you require plus double din units specifically made for the fusion.

You will probably find broken wiring where the door harness attaches to the body pillar. Pull back the rubber boot where the large round plastic connector is located, and you should see wiring detached from the pin contacts.hth
