(No alarm but immobiliser)
Old ignition lock beginning to seize up. Replaced with second hand lock (metal key only, no new fob), dashboard lights partially come on but cannot get to point in sequence where immobliser is available to unlock. (Engine will half turn if turn key all way, but evidently immobiliser stops it firing.) Tried new key inserted into old key fob, no difference.

Put back old lock (and key in old key fob), all OK for now.

My question was "Something I have noticed the past few years which is starting to get rather annoying and now expensive is that insurance companies are not listing ACTUAL numbers of years no claims anymore. The Problem

Hi Guys

You maybe able to help me I have a Megane soft top with issues

1, The immobiliers light on the dash does not flash or come on at all Any ideas with is problem??

2, I have no injector earth pulse the earth side. Does any have any wiring diragam for this please??

3, The b***** thing`s will not start as well any help would be great.

4, It open/closes on the remote, the engine turns over fine just will not fire up the fault codes are as follows

DF054 Ring supply
DF055 Coded line circuit
DF059 Decoder->ring connection

Or has anyone got a Renault Megane wiring schematic`s for the immobilier system as I keep being told is the coded line from the ECU to Injector ecu??? any idea what colour this wire is or where the hell it is????

I have forgot to say the immobiliser is coming off in the immobiliser computer but the injection computer not receiving info coded line fault?

I have 3 points from April 2009, which as i understand it expire in 2012. My insurance company were informed and they increased my excess as apposed to my premium when i informed them. If i ask my insurer/ and or move insurance companies. can i answer no to any motoring convictions from april 2012. Any advice appreciated. Read more
