That's still fairly common I think. In effect it allows a crawler lane. ...

Suggest you buy a set of plastic trim removal tools which help enormously as they don’t scratch the paintwork .

Is it possible to post polls in this forum?

It is useful feature and most forums allow it. It is also helpful to see what members think on some topics (like EV related discussions) whether there is any majority for something or people are evenly split. Read more

For reasons I need not go into right now, family member needs to sell a Baleno quick and for best price obviously. 2017, well serviced, 1.0 engine. Absolutely wants to avoid private sale with tyre kickers, fraudsters etc

I was thinking of suggesting Evans Halshaw as they claim to offer better £££ than webuyanycar? Or maybe the auctions? I've been "out of the game" for years so any suggestions welcomed Read more

I have a thread in the Legal forum about a car I bought in Nov 2022 that had serious DPF issues within the first 3 weeks. I'm currently arguing with the dealer about getting a refund.

This thread isn't about whether I'll get one or not...I'm more curious about the cost to get a new DPF and fit it to the car. I spoke to a Vauxhall dealership and they said I'd be looking at £1800-2200. However I was told (by someone on here) to look at the CATS2U website, and have found one that will fit the car and which costs £445 (inc. VAT).... Read more

I was probably the one who recommended CATS2U.

For a bit of background I do a lot of Peugeot diagnostics and give people advice on repairs where they might have the tools and skill to undertake the repairs themselves, but would like a bit of expert advice and diagnostics on what might be wrong, without me having any vested interest as I don't do any work myself or recommend any garages. ...

My friend has a 13 plate Kia Rio 2. No sooner has he paid for the back passenger side brake to be sorted then within a couple of weeks it's sticking again. Any advice would be appreciated as it is a very costly exercise. Read more

The garage probably tried cleaning / lubricating caliper sliding surfaces etc - but really it's needing a new caliper.

I would looking at a particular Vauxhall, it was 3 years old, low mileage, small engine with turbo. The price of it was the same as a 6 year old equivalent from alternative Japanese brands (and it has higher mileage). Honest John rate the Vauxhall Insignia at 3/5

Should I got for Vauxhall? I usually end up with a Japanese, as I worry a about high garage bills and reliability.... Read more

73 years ago, 15 minutes of sheer delight for little one started on the BBC. How times have changed for the very young. Almost as soon as they are talking they are reaching for a mobile phone or plonked in front of the TV to keep them amused where as they could listen to a story and a couple of nursery rhymes and mum would be looking after them. Now a lot of parents are paying an arm and a leg to child minders so that two incomes will sustain their consumer way of life. Certainly a different way of life and no going back to perhaps less stressful times. Read more

I was working in Coventry between 1985 and 1988. I could have bought a terraced house "in need of modernisation" for about £8k. Then they extended the M40 and the house boom started and prices quadrupled.

There is a bit of fly tripping near where I live. I need to place a camera in my car and point to the problem area.

I do have Yi Camera, which are great for indoor CCTV. I can't use it in the car, as it will not run off a USB power bank. ... Read more

There might be legal implications filming members of the public but otherwise, setting up a £50 wildlife camera might be a better solution.

The Doblo at that point was a totally different vehicle though they'll no doubt converge under Stellantis.

As already noted to Peugeot Partner is the same vehicle with minor trim etc differences.
