The clue is in the word OR. If it said AND you might have a case.
I have an issue with the noise from the steering when turning to the left,similar to squeaking and knocking. The dealer acknowledges the issue for once! I am in touch with the dealer but their solution is unacceptable at the moment. The net is littered with problems with SEAT/ Skoda anti roll bars and top suspension joints and has been for some years.
Have any owners had success with new anti roll bars/ top suspension joints. Has anyone recently bought a Seat Ateca, Skoda Karoq and does not have these issues.... Read more
I have a Skoda Karoq. There is no noticeable noise from the suspension.

All Fords from around 2000 are fitted with a smart charge system whereby the charging voltage is able to reach above 15 volts under certain conditions . 14 volts seems a bit low to me . I would check wiring connectors to the back of the alternator and battery. The charge warning light is controlled by the engine management system .

Or, more likely nowadays, power the chargers for any number of cordless devices.
Charge the Ford via zero carbon solar, wind, whatever and lose the need to carry a nasty, polluting compressor or generator.
