Hi all, I'm trying to wire up a dash cam to the fuse box, I need to do it to the ignition fuse. Can't work out which fuse it is as I don't have the manual. Can a yone help? It's a 2013/2014 xc70 D5. Thanks ?? Read more

I think the cabin fuse box is similar to Ford Focus/ Mondeo models . There may be some spare fuse locations that aren’t used . Otherwise, you’re going to need a multi meter to locate which fuses are ignition controlled .

Hi folks. I wondered if any members had any advice on hiring a small car in Nothern Italy?

Looking at the usual big names, they seem a lot dearer than the local companies but as I have never been to Italy before, I am wary of picking a company that have a bad reputation.... Read more

I'd have to agree that seems a bit far fetched. Where's the evidence?...

Evening guys,

Just a quick question if I may and apologies if its a silly one.

I have recently purchased a manual 2016 Mercedes SLC it has a 6 speed gearbox but it is fairly difficult to shift the gearstick in reverse, I wondered if this is normal for a manual Mercedes? Or am I incredibly weak? Ha ha.

Don't get me wrong it is very do-able but it feels difficult compared to any car I have ever driven. Currently have a bad shoulder and putting the car in reverse is definitely aggravates it.
Reverse is left and up from gear one but the gearstick has no lever.

Thank you for reading all advice greatly welcomed :) Read more

Cheers for your response. I will look to sell out a merc specialist that sounds like a good thing to do. My shoulder isn’t terribly bad or limiting generally but the gear shift to reverse is definitely aggregating it which another manual or general day to day activities do not

Given that it’s extremely capable off road with a not particularly torquey 1.5 petrol engine, I’m guessing it’ll be almost unstoppable with a couple of electric motors. Read more

I think Suzuki just need to increase suspension travel.

Yes, but if it had softer suspension with greater travel, the risk in it falling over is higher due to its proportions. A Jimny is taller than it is wide, much more so in the case of the JDM Kei versions which don't have the extra 15cm of track width allowed by the wheelarch extensions. ...
