One car is turning left from minor road onto major road, which is a 90 degree corner, so needs to use all of lane 1 and a little of lane 2 on the major road. Would the use of a Coolant Cleaner help ? something like Holts Speedflush, ? probably the cheapest option, it might clear the blockage that is reducing the heater output, follow the instructions, refill and flush a couple of times to clear out the debris then refill with fresh ford antifreeze & distilled wayer 50/50 mix

I would suspect battery with only 60k but 8 years old.
Test it properly as shown below and in case of any doubt, change it sooner rather than later....

Got a magazine from Volvo this AM trumpeting the path they are taking with electric cars. They say battery technology is excellent now but don't quote ranges achieved by their vehicles. I sometimes drive from N Hants to N Yorks and wonder how an electric car could do this trip. I don't know the exact distance between charges on the various electric cars but it seems 100 miles is a ball park figure..anyone know different? This would mean two stops to charge up the car if you find suitable points to do it. Nightmare would be sitting in a car with a flat battery. Read more
