Hi guys. Can someone please help. Had my clutch sorted and now I can't use the radio. I bought the car 2nd hand without the manual, only the service book was in the car. I took the radio out and tried the number that someone wrote on the radio, but it doesn't work. The serial no of the radio is M238311 and the code written on it is 1624, I've even tried to enter the number from back to front, no luck. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP. Read more

I was performing a 3 point turn in a small narrow street and while I was doing my 2nd point(reversing) turn which I think was doing around speed of 3-5mph and had my steering wheel nearly/full lock but I didnt realise on how close I was so when I kept reversing until the back wheels had hit the kerb, which felt quite hard.

I'm concerned if I have damaged the steering wheel system,,steering wheel, tyres, suspension, shock absorber or car mechanical parts or cause the car to be out of alignment?

Hi - I'm thinking of buying a new Toyota Verso but had excessive oil consumption issues with a previous Verso. Apart from that, we were very happy with the car but before we think about a new one, want to be sure that the initial fault (which I think affected earlier models and was reflected by Toyota offering an extended warranty for the period in question) has now been rectified. Can anyone help, please? We're looking at probably a petrol 2011 model onwards now - thanks! Read more

First thing to do is check the oil level in the gearbox. Change the oil if you can do so yourself.

Sticky caliper? Could be .... certainly worth checking for.
could also be the pads are worn down

My Astra just would no start, no warning at all. Regularly serviced, low mileage. Error code 0136 so changed the oxygen sensor on top of the exhaust manifold. Sparks, but no fuel. All fuses checked. Petrol pump relay not switching, the live LT was going to it, but the earth LT was going high and stopping it operating. Cut the earth and connected it to ground, relay switched in and fuel pump started working. Spark plugs still dry, though plenty of fuel going into injector manifold. Any help or advice would be greatly apreciated. Read more
