October 2011
Hi
This year I'm sticking winter tyres on our Zafira. I have 4 alloy wheels in the garage off my old 3 series, E46 1999 BMW. Does anyone know if they'll fit on the zafira? Zafira is 2005 1.6 life.
Both have 5 studs!
Thanks,
Adam

What was the first thing you did when you finally passed your test and got your licence? When i passed in 2002 i had a Fiesta 1.1 (one of those slower than hamster wheel Fiesta's) which i used to go out learning with my Dad and i passed on the tuesday, changed the insurance around by the wednesday and just went and filled it up and drove round for hours on end. No route, no clue where i was going, it didnt matter. I just drove until i got bored (and was considerably lost).
How about you? Read more
I'm going back a few decades now, but I can remember making plans for booking two tests in the same week - for obvious reasons. I can't remember the details, but I ended up with a car test on one day, and a bike test a couple of days later. Passed each first time, in the same week, and went back to work as an apprentice mechanic after each test. I had a motorbike at the time, and my employer provided the car for the test.

Yep, thanks for that Concrete.
I intend to pick the car up tomorrow, although I'll be calling him today to run over the monthly payments, as I can't be bothered going down there and noticing that the figures have jumped up and they have me at the showroom with the car outside trying to corner me....
Right - i'm looking a buying my first diesel (doing ~25k a year).
I can stretch to 10k and want a car no older than 4 years and 80k... Read more
Record's stuck again....
Try a nice, reliable Jap. The Honda Civic diesel may be a five year old design but it's more refined than most current European 4 pot diesels and I doubt you'll ever break it unless you run it without oil or water.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I'll get some steelies off a breaker most probably then.
Thanks!
